What movies were so bad that you turned them off and sat the remainder of the runtime in silence?
What movies were so bad that you turned them off and sat the remainder of the runtime in silence?
Hopefully you didn't turn that one off, OP. Otherwise that means you're actually from Reddit and not from Yea Forums.
Barry Funk. I can't say for sure if it was worse than Buster Shrugs, but I could not finish it. I literally sat in my chair and just enjoyed silence for awhile. I guess the movie was good for that.
Turbo Kid was the first movie I didn't finish in a while. Maybe in a different mood I could like it but that movie had no substance, it was just a Sci-Fi original movie stuffed full of 80's nostalgia.
Top Gun
Anyone here actually walked out of a theater before? And NOT out of anger, like the movie is throwing feminist shit at you or whatnot, but just the movie was not doing it for you and you just really wanted to do something else?
I got real close during Lincoln. It was a fine movie, but I was so goddamn bored. It's just a high quality history channel movie.
Walked out of Les Mis. I realized sitting there that I would rather be watching Django Unchained again so I walked out of theatre 1 and into theatre 2
i see you frequent /r/lists,
>*tips hat and midnight narwhals*
Bright.
I think I got memed on by Yea Forums. Every second of it I managed to sit through was unredeemable trash. made it about halfway through.
Not the same thing, but for Pacific Rim 2, I got out, went to the bathroom, took a really nice long shit, then came outside to smoke a few cigs, if I was alone and my friend wasn't with me for the viewing, I would have left the theater and went directly home.
I walked out of the third blade movie
>Bright
It took me 3 days to watch. I was genuinely trying, but when watching it, I always fell asleep after 20-30 minutes. Bored me to hell.
>can't into entry-level arthouse like eraserhead
You're a lost cause, OP.
it's a pretty fucking painful movie to watch, you have to admit.
not turin horse levels of "why am I watching this" but I wouldn't call it fun. at all.
That one punisher movie where the mc lives in an apartment and has dinners with his gay neighbors and doesn't really punish anyone.
I think Travolta waz in it as well.
Werkmeister is Tarr's best movie
I walked out of Alien Covenant. From what I heard about it I’m glad I did.
is it comfy?
i didn't like turin horse at all but I really liked shit like once upon a time in anatolia and stalker
Turin Horse is both his ugliest and most cynical movie
Werkmeister has a bit more humor and wonder
Satantango is like 2 hours of really good dark regretful comedy movie buried in 7 hours of stuff
If you liked Stalker watch The Sacrfice and Nostalghia
Water horse
most recent: Avengers, Venom, Black Tower, Taken 3
Yeah, not a bad call to leave that one early. Unless you got raped after you left. Then I woulda stayed.
I didn’t get raped after I left, but if I did I agree it would have been better to stay at the theater.
>Lincoln
That's the first movie I ever walked out of. I'd sat through some shitty movies, but about 30 minutes into that one I just couldn't take another two hours of docudrama. I knew it was very well done, but I was a junior in college and went with my roommate, we decided we had better things to do on a monday night.
Black panther.
Eraserhead is the only good thing Lynch ever did. Its really great if youre tripping on LSD.
Walked out of the James Brown biopic abt 15 mins into it, n my gf is a huge James Brown fan. It was fuckn awful
Eraserhead is absolute trash. Pure, unadulterated trash
Lynch films aren’t anti-lsd coded so any bonus you think they have is practically placebo.
I watched it without knowing what it was, just liked Twin Peaks and heard David Lynch made it.
I think it was excellent. It really captures the atmosphere of being an anxious young man trying to go about his daily life in an industrial wasteland.
I guess you just don't "get it."
Huh?
that list is truly embarrassing
I went to it alone during the day, because I wanted to dig into a period piece set during a war. I thought I was in for a ride. Fuck it was boring. I really should have walked out. I coulda gotten day drunk or something.
i got close during wolverine in japan or what the hell was it's title, the last capeshit i've seen. it was phisically sickening because of its stupidity and it was so boring. but i had a friend with me so i stayed
Sorry I meant to say

amazing spider man 2
