Found footage movie but the ghost is the cameraman.

Post more junji ito rip offs

A busty Japanese school girl stumbles upon a group of witches who plan to turn every girl in the world flat chested. She enlists her busty friends to stop them from performing the ritual on Halloween night. There's also zombies and other shit standing in their way.

>found footage film but the ghost is the camera

Found footage, but it's a podcast... with ghosts.

It's John Kenn Mortensen

An anthology movie featuring stories about cryptids from different parts of America. The wrap around segments show a group investigating them and arriving a day or so after where characters of the stories got killed. At the end it's revealed, one of the characters was replaced by a skinwalker somewhere along the way

Found footage movie but the ghost is the audience
Oh wait, that's every found footage movie

>It didn't put her face into the dark hallway
One job

It's Junji Ito but not as good.

A school's janitor with a predilection for young girls, gets burned alive by jealous parents.

Period piece set in the very late 1950s.
Taken seriously with good acting that isn't trying to parody the period.
Monsters from tons of 1950s monster movies invade the real world. Their bodies are in black and white to contrast the real world like a inverse of pic related episode of Magic School Bus.
Effects are mostly practical, they keep very faithful to the original designs BUT make them look more realistically brought to life with modern Stan Winston style/quality craftsmanship.

So the Freddy Kruger remake?

I can't take these comics seriously anymore since Yea Forums.

Protag gradually notices people around him glitching, gets more frequent and ominous.

Also, passing by/looking out windows at night- is there an anthropological/psychological explanation for why it's so spooky?

Pic related is the kinda thing I want to see.

The restless ghost of a murdered woman tries to kill a group of teenagers, but the jokes on her when one of them decides he wants to fuck the ghost.

It’s your brain testing looking from all possible angles that you could be seen from stalked by... a bear, a cougar. Or maybe a pair of human eyes.

A woman gets her child taken away by CPS and fights to get him back. Eventually she's found dead. The childs grandfather snaps and investigates and finds CPS is a cult sacrificing children to demons on a national level. Sort of a classic old man revenge trope like grand torino but horror.

oooh fuck you
based murricans

The Butt That Wouldn't Stop Pooping

that would just be an exposé

The greatest horror is the truth.

Sure but you don't typically get that same deep feeling of dread in other environments, even unknown ones. Maybe it's the fact that you feel unseen and protected indoors whereas a window is a vulnerability.

Also I think it plays on that whole "something is coming to get me but I don't know where/what it is" prey feeling

Misquoted at the end there

1984 remake. Heavy on the existential dread. Good psychological horror.

Is there a collection of these edits? Like a download?

ESPIRITU
CACA

IT WILL BE THE MOST EVIL FILM EVER SO SHOCKING. YOUR TO BRAINLET TO GET IT. STILL IN PRODUCTION. WILL HAVE LIKE BABIES GETTING KILLED ANS RAPED BY DEMONS. ESPIRITU CACAS.

He fucking rules. I have one of his books. Good taste.

Op's life story

>letting memes rule your life
yikes

Movie begins with the most racist depiction of savages killing each other during some tribal dispute, a sort of mini war over territory. Voice over of the holy war that was happening between the tribes. Show the most brutal death scenes with flint weapons. Voiceover explains some dumb sumarian belief of a prophecy that an ancient evil lays dormant within the earth and to keep the evil appeased a certain number of blood sacrifices needs to be performed yearly onto the earth or literal hell will open on earth. Show scenes of all wars and how it really is a thing. Show how we are now at world peace and explain this as the reason why our headlines today would be considered too far fetched and crazy to be in supermarket tabloids 20 years ago.

Some sort of allegory for thinking you’ve made the best decision you’ve ever made in your life only to discover slowly it’s tearing you apart and causing your ultimate destruction. It’d be a real psychological creeper.

Marriage.

>Found footage movie
But the footage was never found.

I grew out of window fear in college. Eventually you learn that there ain't shit out there, and if there is something out there chances are it ultimately doesn't care about you

>found footage film but the ghost is the footage

Zombies but instead of eating you they rape you.

>Woman buys weird old antique camera
>takes picture in backyard
>notices a life-size statue of what looks like an angel
>investigates, but can't understand it
>later puts on some new digital glasses
>plays with the shutter speeds and configuration
>wow she can see it again
>she looks out her back door, a second time, and it's closer to the house
>wakes up and puts her glasses on
>it's in her bedroom

Could be a fun little short

I thought it was supposed to be a horror movie?

>Also, passing by/looking out windows at night- is there an anthropological/psychological explanation for why it's so spooky?

I don't know why, but that used to terrify me when I lived on a ranch. The trees would obscure most starlight/moonlight and so if I was on the computer downstairs and alone I would either shut all the blinds or have to consciously avoid looking out the windows next to me for fear of seeing something.

I think maybe it's because as humans we have very poor night vision relative to most predators and so our instinct is to be secure in an enclosed, defensible position at night. Windows kind of break that condition psychologically even if we know we're not at any risk of being attacked by a cougar or bear or something. I mean think too about the psychological effect of leaving your bedroom door open at night, I think a lot of people inherently feel more comfortable with it closed even if technically it shouldn't matter.

I mean if you look at the two biggest fears children have sleeping, it's sleeping without a nightlight, and fear of a monster under their bed (or from an open closet).

Horror media isn't scary or entertaining after you turn 14, grow up losers

They rape you then laugh at your inadequacies? Better?

>footage film about found footage film where the ghost is the found footage
>it stars Ethan Hawke and does well at the box office

Not bad.

Big Brother, but in the middle of the game it's revealed that the "evicted" guests get fed to a giant monster. Of course it ends with the girl who formed an alliance with the nice guy, betraying him.

A boy wakes up in a floating bubble above earth and then he sees the earth pop.

What if it's an STD that makes people into zombies. Except rather than being predatory, they're just kind of braindead and continue to multiple because ultimately the uninfected people are just as braindead. It falls onto the shoulders of our incel hero to destroy all roasties and save the world, leaving only the pure, uninfected women.
The after credits scene shows him waking up in his bed as a zombie after an apparent night with an infected black gentleman.

A story told from three perspectives. The first is found footage of 7 friends in an old abandoned cabin, the second is journal entries of the people who lived in the cabin, and the third is of detectives reviewing the found footage tape and trying to figure out what happened.

Premise is the cabin belonged to an 18th Century Fur Trapper who murdered his family/went insane from extreme isolation and killing so many animals. After his death, his spirit lingers in the cabin and his worldly possessions. The friends discover the cabin and rifle through his things, one of them finds a key or another seemingly innocuous item. But it being in their possession allows the spirit of the fur trapper to take over their body and murder the others.

Ending twist would probably be that the last survivor is actually possessed by the fur trapper and you see them creep behind the detectives.

This might be effective if 1. the face were unsettling in the slightest, and 2. it didn't swap them, especially so MS Paint-tier shittily.

A woman commits herself to a mental hospital, telling them she can only wear clothes and be kept in a room with solid colors because she sees evil faces in patterns. She is kept in a white room, which she seems wary of, but accepts. One day, after a heavy rain storm, the doctor who has been counseling her, finds her walking through the halls in normal clothes and she tells him that she feels fine now and that her fears were irrational, so she leaves. The last scene is of the doctor walking into her room and noticing a water stain in the ceiling. After he leaves, the camera pans to the stain and you hear a faint "help me" coming from it.

watch My Little Eye for Big Brother-esque horror

lmao

Nice idea for a short. Could see it on Crypt TV on Youtube.

Check out "The Yellow Wallpaper"
It's technically feminist literature, but if you read it without context it's a horror story very similar to what you described

A dangerous lunatic roams the country, pissing on his hands and greeting unsuspecting victims.

I'm positive a movie like this already exists. Could have been porn but I feel like it was an actual film.

It's a 80s twilight zone episode that did take inspiration from "The Yellow Wallpaper"

Should be the next season of true detective starring Casey Neistadt and Logan Paul

American Horror Story already did this right after Trump won. It ended up being hilarious. Even mentions Yea Forums. You should watch it.

Got me. I blagged this idea of The Night of Giving Head. They were blowjob zombies but same principle.

Some dude gets trapped in his apartment and has to endure the 9 Circles of Hell to escape

Theres some D movie called The Taint like that. Idk if they rape but they're like woman killing zombies that all have their dicks out

This was a vhs segment or some other found footage collection segment

I'd be surprised if there wasn't a porn like it, but I'm talking about a real movie.

watch mount NABI if you want some rape kino

A nigger becomes the show runner of the “Twilight Zone” reboot.

>all have their dicks out
The reality of this movie is now something I don't want to be a part of now.

An guy involes a demon to posses his body to get revenge on the girl he's in love with and her friends and boyfriend but the twist is that the point of view switched to inside the guys conciousness after he is possessed and goes on to depict what someone's soul experiences while being possessed by a demon and the torments they go through with vague glimpses as to what the demon is actually doing in his body.

I like the old tales from the dark side episode of a woman that has tried every fad diet but can't lose weight. So she subscribes to a diet plan through mail order. It comes in the mail and has a serious warning letter to not start it unless she is fully committed. She opens the box and its an ear piece and a pair of glasses. She puts the ear piece in and hears voices. She then puts the glasses on and she sees all the food in her kitchen is talking to her, with faces and eyes. She ends up befriending the food and starves herself. She ends up eating a vegetable friend and cries while doing it. Cut to commercial, then the show comes back on she is shown dead at her kitchen table with her mouth sewn shut.

Group of firefighters go to a cultist farm where a massive fire has taken over the the main barn. When they arrive they discover that the cultists have risen the underworld. Turns into a crazy acid nightmare where firefighters have to fight off demons and the undead while trying to escape a different dimensional plane of existence.

Silent hill the room already did that.

Dudes wife dies and he makes a deal with the devil to bring her back to life. As part of the deal, Satan gets shared custody of her body, taking over whenever he feels like it. She also needs to eat the flesh of a living human to prevent the body from rotting. The wife is completely oblivious to everything Satan does in her body, but the MC starts to go crazy from being unable to tell whether it's his wife or Satan at any given moment.
I don't really know where it goes from there and I'm sure somebody has already made a similar movie anyway.

A horny teen in the 80s decides to call a phone sex line, but he misdials and actually calls a demon summoning service.

A religious college student works as a counselor at a summer camp for children with various medical conditions and on the last week bonds with a terminally ill camper. The guy soon finds in the year that follows that he becomes incredibly successful in all areas of his life. For the next several years at camp he is reunited with the child and becomes closer to the child's family and realizes that the child is a bored yet powerful and malevolent dark entity who preys on other people at the camp but has taken a genuine liking to him. The guy then struggles with being on friendly terms with a malevolent entity in the context of his faith in God and the danger he and anyone he cares about would be in if he renounces or scorns the entity in any way.

I actually want feedback

When Homo sapiens first saw the light of day, we were not the only species of human that walked the planet. For some thousands of years, we shared real estate with half a dozen Others. there is extensive evidence to support that more primitive species of human practiced cannibalism. Some evolutionary psychologists speculate that our innate fear of the Others is the origin for the uncanny valley. A terror film similar in concept to Bone Tomahawk featuring modern humans being hunted and eaten by Neanderthals would get right down to the root of what makes us afraid.

Attached: Apeman_Borders.jpg (1258x898, 218K)

A slasher movie where victims are quietly replaced by new characters after they die, endlessly frustrating the killer.

My god the madman. how does he do it

A bunch of horror/slasher movie trope villains are trapped in some weird plane of existence and are hunted down and brutally by killed by an angel

To get the auidence to feel anything the humans would have to be pretty close to modern ones or else its just 2 monkeys fighting.

There is a book with a similar premise called Neanderthal that was compared to Jurassic Park about a group of scientists whose anthropolgical expedition to study them foes badly.

I guarantee they'll make this into a ring style horror movie.

>Plane crashes onto the island of the savage tribe that is illegal to communicate with, that the missionary got murdered by a few months back.

Movie revolves around the survivors of the plane crash trying to survive to indiginous neanderthals trying to kill them for no other reason than them being different. Could even have some progressive scene where one of them tries to befriend one of the tribe and they end up eating him.

I did it last year for lent.
Will probaly do it this year too.
That is, not even with my own hand.

I had this semi-nightmare about a year ago, edited a bit
>A group of explorers goes to the Amazon to find this huge riverboat that vanished without a trace like 200 years ago
>They find it stranded in the jungle far away from the actual river
>Inside they find these creepy looking life-sized wooden statues
>They stay there for a couple of days but when the statues start seemingly moving and there's some weird noises they book it out of there
>Some unseen monsters follow them through the jungle, getting some of them
This is the part when the dream started going off the rails
>Finally, they reach a village where they think they will be safe when a large completely black disk appears and hovers over the village
>It starts moving up and down, smashing against the ground and releasing some kind of energy, killing like a dozen people
>The explorers deduce that it has something to do with the haunted riverboat and they journey back there
And that's where I woke up. I haven't figured out how it could end. Also, Feliz Navidad plays in the background through the whole damn adventure for some reason

>During the age of sail a Dutch ship is wrecked on the far coast of Western Australia.
>The crew and passengers begin the slow march south towards Perth
>They encounter some aboriginals who try and warn them not to avoid a certain bay
>The warning is lost in the crew thanks to the language barrier
>As the crew approach the bay they start seeing fires on the hills at night and the remains of animals
>Hoping that the fires mean civilization they rush on ahead heedless of the danger
>Unable to find anyone, they make camp for the night
>During the night the sentries are killed and majority of the crew are captured
>They have been taken by a a damp looking tribe of natives with distinctive fish/ocean themed markings
>The captives are taken one by one and tied to mangrove trees at low tied as offering to Dagon
>This goes on for awhile until some of them escape and run off
>The dying escapees make it to the good natives from earlier
>The natives then lead the men from Navy ship sent to look into missing ship to the bay
>The royal marines massacre some of the Dagon worshippers and scatter the rest
>The marines find some evidence of the capitives were there but no living survivors
>A search is mounted after the marines report their findings but nothing is ever found
>Final shot is a white man in tribal dress swimming ashore after a patrol passes by, implying that some of the captives joined they're captors

Junji It himself ripped off inspiration from others, the biggest he himself says was Kazuo Umezu. Gay weeb.

the mummy but it´s in the antarctic and about an ancient alien civilization. still horror but with a happy ending

A woman with gigantic breasts seduces young boys and girls. Jealous neighbors kidnap her and force her to get a breast reduction. She dies during surgery and a short time later, teens start dying in their sleep from intense orgasms.

Any member of Homo sapiens wouldn't look out of place on a subway in NYC. Having relatable humans wouldn't be a problem.

I plan on writing a legit movie script soon. The basic premise: haunted house story, but on a military base in Afghanistan.

The protag is a Soldier, out on a patrol around the base. They hit an IED and he is the sole survivor from his vehicle. He ends up having only minor damage and begs his commander to let him stay and finish his tour, lest he go insane with guilt.

He spends his recovery time roaming the base. While walking near some massive warehouses in an abandoned part of the base, he sees something strange run into one. He goes into investigate and ends up passing out.

After this incident, he starts having hallucinations of himself dying, monsters chasing him and his friends being killed. Each episode is blamed on PTSD. They become progressively worse until the commander decides to have him restrained at the hospital so they can send him home.

While he is restrained, a massive sandstorm blankets the base, grounding all aircraft. The base is mostly empty, as this is during a troop draw down. The Taliban decide this is the time to storm the base and attempt to breach the wire. The protag uses the ensuing chaos to escape the hospital.

He suits up in his battle gear, intending to go back to the warehouse and finish off whatever the creature was that cursed him (beliving it to be a vampire). A harrowing scene ensues in which he attempts to cross the base while infantry soldiers and rushing every where to reinforce defenses and Taliban rockets and mortars are exploding everywhere. At one point the protag hallucinates seeing dead soldiers from Afghans past fighting each others (persians, macedonians, brits, soviets, mujah, mongols, etc).

He finally gets to the warehouse. At this point, the movie has implied he really is just crazy. We discover that there really is a vampire (a macedonian left by Alexander) who cursed him for spying on his lair. The movie culminates with dual battles and the protag returning with the vamps head to prove hes wasnt crazy.

A movie about the reality of all the missing hikers in national parks.

Attached: Western_Cover_1.jpg (466x640, 119K)

A boy gets sent to summer camp and misses home. He makes a few friends, but then starts noticing some weird things. Kids start getting injured or sick and they don't come back. He hears campfire stories about a monster in the woods. He starts doing some investigating and finds an old shack, inside are all the letters he and other kids sent home. He tries to confront the counselors about it, but they don't believe him. One night he notices one of his bunkmates is missing and looks for him with some other kids, they hear a howl and scream. All the other kids say they should forget about the other kid, but the main guy is like no we gotta save him. He runs toward the scream and a werewolf pounces on him...it's fake. This was all a prank to test his courage or some shit. Also, at the end, you find out this all takes place on another planet.

How about a slasher that is obsessed with killing other slashers?

>dumb fucks go to a national park
>get lost
>die because they are dumb fuks
>this is somehow a supernatural mystery

Yeah, a horror movie about people getting lost in the woods would be a very original thing, I can't think of even one like that.

Yep, that's it. Also seems like there was something extremely similar in a cartoon.

You're too old for Yea Forums, Manoj.

Not so big on the idea anymore but I used to want to write a screenplay about this when I was a teenager.

>set largely deep space vessel with small crew of scientists looking for planets to take readings on
>one of the members has messed with his cryo to wake up earlier so he can lay claim to the majority of the discoveries due to his desire to become known as a great scientist
>however he only has a few days to do so
>takes a shuttle down to planet, sets up some instruments including flying sphere that sweeps the surrounding area
>first night he is sleeping in the shuttle and hears movement outside, checks cameras but nothing can be seen
>has a few short expeditions and finds an abundance of interesting plant life
>later, the sphere comes back clearly very damaged
>no readings can be salvaged
>main character becomes frustrated
>knows he will have to take matters into his own hands as the discovery of an alien lifeform would be one of the biggest achievements in human history
>sets out into a jungle-like area
>some signs of life become apparent however it's getting dark
>main character finds footprints just before sundown
>decides he should stay in the jungle despite the danger
>very spooky scene follows where it's clear he is being stalked by this creature now
>eventually, it attacks him and rips open his safety suit
>hes knocked unconscious and wakes up the next day outside the shuttle covered in scars
>drags himself into the shuttle and flies back up to the ship
>drags himself into the medical bay and plugs himself into a medical unit

>days later he wakes up fully healed
>however his crew members are also now out of cryo
>he initially lies and says he woke up early through some malfunction and was hurt in the process
>some of the crew believe it although one, in particular, is skeptical
>eventually it comes out that he's been down to the planet
>fight breaks out between the skeptical crew member and the main character
>hes eventually handcuffed and is about to be forced back into cryo to be dealt with when the ship gets back home
>alseveral of the crew suddenly become sick and one starts to have a seizure
>main character is left handcuffed somewhere on the ship while they deal with the situation
>he blacks out
>later he wakes, free and runs into the skeptic character now frantic and wielding a gun
>hes filled in that more than half the crew have started to mutate into alien creatures much like the ones mc saw on the planet
>the two move through the ship hoping to escape using a shuttle
>on their way the fight multiple of the mutants
>at some point the two are separated
>mc finds himself at the escape shuttle
>crew member he was with is there and is aiming the gun at him
>it becomes clear the main character is the only mutant and he has hallucinated much of the second half of the film because of the changes happening to him
>hes shot at and pacified
>the crew member drags him to a cryo machine and locks him in
>the course is set back to earth
>the final scene of the film is that crew member receiving the nobel prize or some sort of equivalent for making the first contact with an extraterrestrial

>Dude but like what if you took The Terror and added LMAO lovecraft shit

that's like this comic i read. it was a reprint of a very old tales of horror, these boys find a magic ferris wheel that ages them up. if you get on it and the ride gets set to reverse they de-age. at the end they get the ring master circus owner guy on the wheel and force it to stay on until he dies of old age

I see this being very popular in Japan.

I won't be surprised if Hollywood becomes so devoid of any original idea that they start ripping off Creepypastas.

>memes
it's a fucking comic strip christ almighty

I just had a dream and I feel like it was based on a movie I saw as a child but cannot recall. The basics of it were these humanoid demon monster things who were fighting in another realm but for some reason they we're teleported through some sort of portal to a dinner party going on in the 80s held by a relatively afluent white family. The "evil" demon is a succubus of sorts and for some reason coming through makes her momentarily weak so the family wraps her up in several blankets to restrain her. The other demons come through as well and some have drinks with the party goers and at some point the demon lady breaks out and I run out of the house and that's when I woke up. Does anyone know if I just had a weird dream or if this was a movie?

I may have mashed up Beetlejuice with another movie I saw but I'm not sure

You're probably thinking of the movie House with George Wendt aka Norm Peterson.

Attached: house-3-1024x640.jpg (1024x640, 76K)

that George Wendt guy was in a really cute horror piece called Family from Masters of Horror series

Thanks user I'll check it out

But what about the cat

Nice

The scene with the past soldiers seems kino as fuck

Kino

Not a film, a series
>set in colonial america circa 1750s
>about the colonists expanding westward
>america is filled with monsters like wendigo and skinwalkers
>natives are savages who use sacrifices and blood magic
>colonists have to defend themselves against monsters and savages while trying to expand westward
A bit of the witcher series but a fantasy colonial america instead. The setting is so underutilised, aside from 1776-themed shit like the patriot I can only think of the revenant that is set at this time.

What would be the tone like? Campy and wholesome or somber and dark? I've always thought of a medieval Supernatural spinoff but it wouldn't be that special.
Also, good luck painting the natives as savages and the colonists as the good guys in today's day and age

Sounds good. Makes me think of the time machine. When I saw that film - the original - as a kid the apelike human morlocks creeped me out. Something about not-quite-human does the trick.

>guy and fiancé have to visit his rich uncle in some mansion (the uncle paid his way through school basically)

>by the end the fiancé turns out to be a demon and the uncle mansion is built on top of an ancient pan dimensional evil
>the old uncle dies and his nephew has become the new guardian protecting the world from whatever evil the house is on top of

The overall tone would be a mixture of The Shining (isolationism, decreasing sanity) and the original Suspiria (i imagine a scene similar in feel to piano players death in which the protag is running around the living area of the base being chased by an unseen entity). No gay jumpscares or let up from the oppressive feeling of dread the character is feeling.

I like it but depends on the setting that would make it interesting. (We kind of had that already with descent)

The show Channel Zero does that with each season being a different creepypasta

Not very complex idea, but here it goes

In a secret base belonging to UN, in a deep underground bunker complex, there is a locked room, with a "thing" inside. No one knows what is that "thing" inside, because whoever enters that room, and sees it, loses his mental stability.
A person who witnessed the "thing" loses any restraints, is in deep state of panic, and loudly begs everyone around to destroy this "thing", or at least shut down the whole complex so no one can find it. Apart from state of insanity, such person can't provide information what is this "thing", because it's "so horrible, it's impossible to describe". Such person also does everything in their power to commit suicide, because their mind was clearly branded by the "thing".

i got this whole idea from a nightmare, where I was between two doors. One side was silent, but from another there was insanely mad and desperate voice telling me to not open that door in incredibly scary tone. I remember opening the opposite door, because voice from the other one scared me so much, and in this moment I woke up.

did she just drop the cat? what a bitch

>Tessie

God I wish I was that cat

Found footage movie but the ghost is the entire human race, and the people in the movie are the only humans living in a simulation

Cute woman gets haunted by a monster that never gets shown to the viewer but at the end it's revealed that it was all a dream but at the very last scene it's revealed that the monster is actually real.

it's actually pretty deep and a metaphor for depression

How come Looks scary/intimidating but the guy in looks like a huge bro?

Like I'm immediately seeing him poking his head in the window to yell at the kid "wake up nigga let's play some Mario kart" and the kid is like "fuck off monster from beyond the stars I have school tomorrow" and the kid is a huge dick and I hate him why the fuck wouldn't you want to spend time with your giant monster bro you little shit

>he doesn't know about Tahoe Tessie
its more or less the Loch Ness monster the real crazy story is the elephant thats supposed to be at the bottom of the lake

That’s from Doctor Who and you know it

this sorta exists already

I can’t take this seriously because all I can think is that she somehow managed to get a shirt with sleeves long enough for her big arms

Bird Box

I can only think of Enter The Void

It's a goosebumps story.

spoils fucking everything but
Resolution

A typical demon/ possession story but set in prehistoric times
serves as a prequel to the entire The Conjuring series

I actually have had very similar ideas to this before and I'd like to see an American colonial fantasy series
would also have a lot about Pennsylvania Dutch, Shekeener (gypsies), Appalachian, and New York/NJ Dutch folklore among more typical New England stories and stuff

>i got this whole idea from a nightmare, where I was between two doors. One side was silent, but from another there was insanely mad and desperate voice telling me to not open that door in incredibly scary tone. I remember opening the opposite door, because voice from the other one scared me so much, and in this moment I woke up.

this is great horror, don't know if it's filmable tho

I read the Wikipedia page to try to understand the story and I have no fucking clue what was happening the entire time

Slasher movie set in ancient egypt (use a period with no meme Pharaos so it doesn't distract from the plot) with the killer wearing the mask of one of the egyptian gods. Maybe make it political/religious by having the priests try to use the murders and the looks of the killer to their own advantage? As long as it doesn't become From Hell 2: Old Egypt with the conspiracy shit it should be okay.
Fuck, just use Agatha Christie's Death Comes As The End and make it more horror.

Interesting. What race would you cast them to be though? Will have to be pretty much entirely Arabian

Watch “Contracted.” It’s disturbing.

“Details.” Good story.

I dig it.

Fuck, user. Somestudio executive reading this? This is some film worthy shit right there.

Unironically I think that was probably the point all along. How long has that pic been around? I won't even attempt to imagine the timeframe, but it was being posted on /x/ without any context long before it became a normie meme. I'm almost semi-certain it even predates /x/ itself.

How about this?

One of our “cousin” species evolved into a true predator and we’re they’re staple prey. They, like all carnivores, exist at a population size that is a tiny fraction of their prey’s, they depend on us for certain proteins and enzymes their bodies don’t naturally produce, and if they try to go “cold turkey,” they manifest symptoms similar to porphyria.

“Real” vampires.

Authentic Egyptians speaking modern Egyptian Arabic, the whole thing is subbed like Apocalypto

It’s literally just some art by a Japanese woman. It wasn’t intended to be a horror thing. It’s just a sculpture in a gallery.

I like this.

you mind if I steal this?

From when though? I very clearly remember something incredibly similar in an old ad (like the Playstation alien woman, but I think it was for mobile phones).

I had a nightmare a couple years ago. Little girl has a Porcelain doll. Kept telling me it talked to her, telling her to go in the basement. We go down there, and theres a creature living in the dirt floor. It's like a sentient slime mold that feeds on anything living. It can break parts of itself off to lure prey in. There was a part of it in the doll, which is why it could talk and move.

TFW Shivers will never get the remake it deserves.

Jacobs ladder but in WW1
the VVitch set in medieval Europe during the plauge which focuses more on losing faith

its sorta like cabin in the woods but not for brainlets
maybe watch it again with that in mind

It's perfect, jeff the killer already has a cinematic universe.

It’s his happy, strangely hopeful expression.

Yes. Thank you for this. I want the style of primordial earth too

You guys are talking about Jews, right?

We *could* be.

Document a NEETs life from birth to now
It’ll double as a horror/sad piece
May even inspire people to reach out and help him; or despise him who knows

sounds potentially kafkaesque. someone fund it

>skinwalkers
Fucking lol
Sounds like a movie for 12 year olds that just discovered their first “creepypasta”

nice goosebumps book bro

a found footage movie but from the salem witch trials.

>a Yea Forums movie
It should have a team of /fit/, /pol/, Yea Forums, /r9k/ and Yea Forums
I’d throw money at it

Read the Brian Keene book “castaways” and “the last of the albatwitchs”

It’s about a lost tribe of hominids that are super inbred, a lot stronger, canabalistic and rape women to try not being as inbred and mutated

This is literally just a peter watts book (blindsight) you read, you fuckin leaf

Fund this.
NOW

ya so Shivers

Got a few I set aside specifically with Yea Forums in mind:

"BloodCript"- Lompoc California, a territorial dispute between members of the Crips and Bloods erupts into an all-out gang war.The climactic rumble takes place in a desolate section of isolated scrubland as they battle for control of the high ground of an ancient forgotten burial mound. The violence and carnage awakens an ancient force sealed within the mound and two opposing groups must band together against a being engaged in a turf war with humanity itself.

imdb.com/title/tt2271565/

This would've been a great idea three decades ago. Could still work the nostalgia factor, though.

Found footage movie but the footage is never found

Could it work as a high budget tv series?

Given the success of A Quiet Place and Birdbox, what I call the 'Denied Senses Quintology' needs to be completed. First we need to have a monster that kills you if you taste it. The twist is that the monster is irresistibly delicious. We can get PETA to fund this. Next we will have a monster that hunts by smell, specifically farts. Survivors will band together in air freshener factories. Finally the last movie has everyone dying by feel. The monster is the sun and it's an allegory for global warming.

>/fit/

Also /pol/

/fit/ in some kind of heroic sacrifice

The story barely holds itself together, so I don’t think so. They would have to change a lot to make the ending less jarring and shitty.

Can always set it during the 80's.

'Nother along the same lines:
A group of LA gangbangers trying to lay low after a shooting decide to hide out in a remote cabin up north and run afoul of bigfoot. Suggested title: "Biggie" (fresh prince already used Boyz In The Woods. And yeah I know there's some similarities with Devil On The Mountain.)

Damm the japanese film was so shit

A western set in Canadia where a gang is being chased by a posse of lawmen and bounty hunters into the territory of a Wendigo. A freak blizzard traps them in an ghost town and they're slowly picked off one by one with no means to actually kill the creature. Maybe throw a native into the cast that no one believes about the myths until he's proven right. Kind of 30 Days of Night meets Hateful Eight meets Dog Soldiers.

Absolutely not. Many parts of it won't translate well to western audiences and the story goes from paranormal cozy, to off the walls lovecraftian in like 3 chapters

Uzumaki was cozy and comfy all the way to the end, especially on rereads when you know everyone is doomed and can just enjoy the spiral into doom.

There was a Japanese movie?

I fucking WISH

Indeed there was.

it was pretty bad. which is especially awful because uzumaki is so incredible visually.

My favourite part was when the couple really wants to be together so they twist their bodies together into a big snake and swim off into the ocean.

This chapter was fucked

Attached: Uzumaki09.jpg (750x1104, 206K)

This spec ops squad gets sent to investigate an insurrectionist base somewhere in the wilderness. They encounter loads of weird paranormal shit and fight bizarre demons the insurrectionists have summoned. All the while the protagonist has visions of another mission he doesn't remember, against another paranormal force, with a guy he's never seen before as his best buddy and partner in the squad until he's killed horribly.
Eventually after a few of them destroy the base and escape to the extraction point (with the commander of the squad sacrificing himself to let them escape), they learn that their squad is specialized to deal with this kind of paranormal event. To minimize the risk of insanity/brainwashing/paranormal influence, they always wipe the memory of the troopers after each mission, so each paranormal encounter is their "first" in a way. They wipe the memories of the squad.
Fast forward to them in another country dealing with a group of ghost-summoning mediums or the like. The protagonist discovers recordings and pictures of their old commander, the one who sacrificed himself. A rookie asks who that guy is and the protagonist says he has no idea and they continue with the mission. End credits.

Mandela effect movie
mandela himself is the villain

This is really good. Please keep us posted on your progress fleshing it out into a full screenplay.

Wait a minute, I thought the Mandela effect was created by the Berenstein Bears?

So the entire thing is that this dude / girl (really doesn't matter) has a chemical imbalance that inevitably causes them to commit suicide. Now, this person is mentally fucked, in that suicidal tendencies manifest themselves as sort of "skips", and the one that the MC finally follows through on and listens to is a big eldritch horror.

Movie's a bit of a slow burn, as the MC shows no signs of being suicidal, outside of the aforementioned "skips" / horrors. It can arguably be presented as a coming of age film, where things just start sliding off course a la "Heathers". MC goes about usual 17-25 year old life (high school / college), and throughout the film the "skips" start becoming more and more pronounced, and they begin distancing themselves from others, as the horrors begin manifesting themselves onto the people that the MC used to be close to.

Final scene is either at a bridge or on top of the school house around dawn, where the rising sun is instead replaced by that eldritch horror that slowly rises up over the horizon. Big booming voice that speaks in an unfathomable language, MC stares on (tears streaming from bloodshot eyes), transfixed by this unimaginable being blocking the sky and the rising sun in front of them. Being unable to comprehend aforementioned horror, MC begins walking toward it, annnnnnnd right off the roof / bridge. As they fall, the horrors are swirling about, and right when they land (with an oh so satisfying crunch), it's almost like a light flips on, and everything is back to normal, sans the dead mc on the pavement.

Wouldn't it be nice if we were older
Then we wouldn't have to wait so long?

>Dudes wife dies and he makes a deal with the devil to bring her back to life
Pet Cementery had the similar premise, where a beloved one is able to come back to life after bury the corpse on an ancient indian cementery, but with some sinister change. The first film is the same, but with a kid instead of a wife. Second Pet Cementery is about an abusive father. This sound promising for a seque.

Never read it, but now I will. I got this idea after they discovered those Malaysian “Hobbit” people. The idea sort of cross-pollinated with the prevalence of cannibal cultures in that area of the world. I envisioned them having evolved into true predators due to compressed evolution like the “Hobbits,” then co-existing with humanity through prehistory, always living at the periphery, picking the “weak” off from the edges of the herd.

I’m also a different guy than , just offering suggestions of my own.

Word by word adaptation of this book.

Attached: Blood-Passover.jpg (681x960, 125K)

Are you referring to the comfy parts when the entire town is destroyed by storms, people begin flying and blowing tornadoes causing destruction until they all make a giant shanty town spiral and form a body horror spiral mass? That cozy part?

Yeah but shitty casting would fuck up, I’d only trust James Wan

Yes, all of that and more. I own the book and read it before going to bed every now and then, especially during the summer when there's mosquitoes around to annoy me.

Thanks dude. Heres a little more fleshing out i did.

The entire movie would have a lot of stylistic similarities to The Shining. The opening seqeunce / title crawl would be a long tracking shot, flying over the southern Afghan desert, similar the Shinings opening, with creepy dark ambient music. The camera would occassionally sweep over various haunted looking locals, such as ruined buildings, above ground cemeteries, a herd of dead decaying camels. There would be no hint of the movies militaristic theme until the end when the flying view point zooks out slightly and is revealed to be a helicopter landing at the base.

When the protag enters the warehouse to explore, he hones in on an innocuous pile of debris. He stares at it intently while a piercing sound gets louder and louder. A wide angle shot of the pile quickly zooms in on the pile, then the scene fades to black, implying the protag passed out.

Much later in the movie, while hes incarcerated in the hospital, hes trying to convince a friend hes not crazy. He says he remembers something about the day he passed out, he heard a whispered voice recite a certain word in a foreign language. He begs his friend to find out what it means. In the next scene, the friend is hopelessly typing in random spellings of the word into google.

At some point the Taliban attack happens and the friend runs off. The camera zooms in on the last search and we the viewers see a result indicating the word is an ancient Macedonian/Greek word for "curse you".

At the same time, we see the protag reliving the warehouse seen (similar to Danny seeing the blood elevator). This time we see the entire event... the camera zooms in on the pile of the debris and we see two random circular objects in the center begin to blink, implying he really did see a monster.

For the first hallucination earlier in the movie, we see our protag is in bed, fidgeting and having bad dreams. He jolts up from bed and reaches for a bottle of water on his night stand. He finds it empty and gets up to go get another one from the fridge in the hallway.

He stumbles out of bed into the dark hallway and we see a ominous red light shining off screen from the exit sign. Our protag holds his face as if he has a headache and blindly walks down the hallway. We see him passing the doors to other rooms but.. he never gets closer to the red light. Eventually he notices hes been walking for a while and hasnt gotten anywhere. He looks behind him and sees the hallway stretches into infinity.

He panics and begins running towards the red light. Eventually he is completely enveloped in red and the structure of the building disappears. He is just in an endless red void. He is screaming and screaming and clawing at his face in terror.

Suddenly normal hallway lights come on and we see the other building occupants standing around him and hes laying on the floor. In the next scene he is at the mental health doc. She is trying to blame his PTSD. He attempts to explain the warehouse and possible monster, but realizes he really does sound crazy and accepts it was PTSD.

Why is this picture so striking.

but HBO and Jordan Peele are doing something like this.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lovecraft_Country_(TV_series)

that's the stuff

movie about group of people go for forest trekking in asia region. in asia region, there is famous folklore of orang bunian or simply bunian people. so one of participant of said group went missing or so by other participant. we see both situation witnessed by people searching for him and the missing person experience.

you can do research and stories which real life occured or one commonly be told by folklore.

During the second hallucination, we see the protag walking thru the housing area at night by himself. It is deathly quiet, despite window lights being lit up, suggesting many people reside there.

The housing area is a maze. After passing thru some alleyways, he feel like he is being followed. Eventually he catches a glimpse of something parallelling him thru the alleys. A giant monster and appears and begins to chase him while spooky music plays (think 1977 Suspiria).

We now start to see silhouettes in the lit up windows and can hear the sounds of people laughing and conversing, but we cant actually see other humans (think houses in Bloodborne).

The protag is banging on windows, begging for help but is ignored. The monster corners him and smashes thru one of the windows. We see it pull out a faceless humanoid shape from the building and it rips it apart, spewing blood everywhere.

We then see the protag curl up in a ball in an alleyway, screaming. Then real humans are seen surrounding him as he wakes from the hallucination and he is carted off to the doc again.

you can start from here. true story. never been made into movie.

ITT: People with no grasp on what is story, character, plot, horror, fear, tension, suspense etc.

OP asking for idea, not script of 90+ pages for fuck sake.

Horror doesn’t have to be scary, user. Sometimes the scariest stuff is just sudden inexplicable weirdness with no explanation.

Out of curiosity, what’s your idea for a good horror movie?

Unfriended and Slender happened already. Fuck, I Know What You Did Last Summer was based off the stories you'd hear at camp that always seem to end with "and the hook the man had for a hand was stuck in the car doooor!"

Too many connectives.
Man door hand hook car door

Post your own idea then

>still hasn’t posted his ideas
Everyone take a look at this guy

Well I find it childish

A couple do that thing where they create a bunch of fetuses in test tubes using their eggs and sperm then choose which fetus has the best genetic makeup while the rest are destroyed; they have three kids this way. When they're old and the kids have all moved out, they begin to be tormented by monstrous versions of their children. They think it's psychological but drugs and therapy don't help, they think it's ghosts but they flee their home and the figures still follow them. Eventually they hole up with the eldest of their children and his family, with the middle and youngest staying with them as well, then one night the old couple wake up to the monster versions in their place. Turns out the unchosen fetuses weren't destroyed, but developed and used for medical testing.

I (and others) were sure this was basically the plot of the first season of AHS back while it was airing. The main spirit was actually an aborted fetus desperately trying to be born. The whole Omen thing they actually did with it was much less interesting.

Sinister

The last time I posted an idea on Yea Forums, some fat faggot stole it and eventually sold the game to Microsoft for $2.5 billion.

Never again.

What game

I'd quite like a zombie film where most of the film only has one actual zombie. Instead of bio-weapon testing creating some useless rotting cunt that can't survive a gunshot to the head, it actually creates a creature that mutates to survive damage. It can't spread the virus very effectively because if it catches someone it tends to kill them too quickly, but by the end there are a few of them to escape from. Have it sent into a small podunk town as a test, and early on it falls after someone shoots it in the brain only for it to get back up and pull his head off. Slow and dumb to begin with but over time it learns things like opening doors and using distractions. It picks up a gun but doesn't have the finesse or coordination to use it effectively, firing wildly and missing completely, so instead just beats people to death with it. Shit like that.

>found footage film but the ghost is YOU/the audience

sounds like minecraft. notch was a Yea Forumsirgin.

A British folk horror, but instead of the protagonist being the outsider, it’s a person within and the outsider is the antagonist.

Kino

many but too lazy to write them down. I wouldnt even be bothered if you made hundreds of millions off my ideas as long as they become movies

Something to do with the oppressive darkness in the background along with an unnerving 'character' in the foreground.
How about this one?

Attached: C9IZxqR.jpg (600x577, 22K)

>normal guy notices everyone around him starts acting strangly
>things get a little more crazy over time
>everyone is smiling but acting weird
>everyone is acting like stepford wives
>he starts questioning his own sanity
>everyone says he's the one acting weird and they start sending police to his house and put him in mandatory psychiatry where they try to dose him with drugs
>eventually he's shown in his cubicle with a smile on his face like all the others

Psychological horror based around the feelings of hopelessness and an analogy for fighting against a totalitarian society from the inside.

Sounds like we happy few.

I'd make a film in a Zdzislaw Beksinski universe.

why don't they use time travel in horror movies

Already done, but short

youtube.com/watch?v=tPROKr2EfpM

The horror of reality is worse than anything you can put on film.

Attached: I died in Hell, They called it Passchendaele..jpg (1280x866, 375K)

Footage from I am jazz, but portrayed as psychological horror

I've always wanted to see a film adaptation of The Night Land by William Hodgson, it would have to be either long as fuck or multiple movies though. Or maybe House on the Borderland with the traveling through time and space part directed by David Lynch

Seems to me it would work better if the investigator was someone who works for CPS or maybe a small town sheriff/cop. I think the latter works better. As they go deeper down the conspiracy rabbit hole the cultists do more and more character assassination and gaslighting.

First act of the movie should focus on the investigation. Second act sees the cop suffering from paranoia and questioning their grip on reality. Eventually the cultists manipulate them so well the cop believes they had a psychotic episode and it was all a paranoid delusion and they go on medication and see a therapist. Maybe during this episode the cop loses custody of their own child as a protective measure. Third act focuses on the cop seeing some small detail that gives away the whole lie and they realize they were right all along and their own child is in the hands of the abusive cultists. The cop goes on a bloody rampage and rescues their child, along with several others, but realizes they can't live a normal life anymore. Movie ends with the cop and rescued children living in hiding, maybe in some mountain cabin somewhere or some shit.

I like it but I think you'd have a hard time justifying both the abandoned section of a military base and that said section was used as a refuge by an ancient macedonian vampire all in a believable way. Best of luck to you though.

I like it; it's kind of like how in Seven Psychopaths Maggie and the white guy are killers of serial killers. I think it would work best if the main character of the movie is an innocent person (maybe someone with a morbid interest in serial killers) who the killer confuses for a serial killer by circumstance.

it also one of the parts that doesn't fit with the rest of it.

Browse reddit and realize those faggots actually exist and have influence and power and nobody is killing them without mercy. Fucking terrifying.

kek

Literally Predator but with a task force fighting a big demon who was summoned and his minions.

but i live that every day user

Dude was raised on traditional moral values all his life, ie treat everyone equal, protect women and children, etc. Wakes up one day and realizes abortion is rampant, degeneracy is everywhere, and people are hyper-focused on race.

Guy is dating a girl who's going to college sorta far away. They visit each other on occasion but keep the relationship going mostly over video chat. One night the couple is chatting when a bunch of thugs break into the gf's apartment. They were originally planning on robbing the place but they decide to have some fun with the gf- or rather, her bf on the other line. The robbers threaten to kill her if he disconnects the chat or doesn't do what they say. He realizes they're not lying when he loses signal but gains it back and sees the robbers just about to shoot her.

The night escalates as the robbers make the guy do increasingly dangerous things for their amusement like vandalism, robbing a gas station. He struggles to do all of this and keep his phone charged and not get caught. However, the guy is resolved to rescue his gf, and he uses the "errands" to get closer and closer to the college campus.

Eventually he's able to outsmart the robbers. He distracts them through the video chat and then breaks into his gf's apartment and kills them. In this psychotic state he just tears these guys apart in this drawn out, excruciating torture and execution scene with frequent close-ups on his eerily calm face.

In the aftermath of it all, the guy is out on bail while under trial for all the things he did that night. The girl is grateful but horrified at the lengths he went to in order to protect her and the guy is just eerily calm. The movie ends as both are driving together from a court hearing or an appointment with the guy's lawyer. It's late at night and while they're waiting at a stop a thug runs up to the car, points a gun at the girl through the car window, and starts giving them commands to get out of the car and empty their pockets. The screen goes into a split-shot of the girl looking terrified at her bf, and the guy staring dead-eyed at the carjacking and calmly replying "okay" as he turns the car off and gets out. Screen cuts to black, movie ends.

I can see the film making frequent use of split-shots. Sometimes the screen is split 50/50 between one side of the video chat and the other (but not found-footage style) with events playing out simultaneously. Sometimes emphasis shifts to one scene and the other scene 'minimizes' and plays out in the corner. Sometimes the screen is just dominated by one scene and one scene alone.

One of the robbers might sympathize with the gf and try to protect her from his more violent and sadistic friends. Stockholm syndrome sets in, and he's one of the few the gf watches her bf kill right in front of her.

Maybe the bf is set up as having some kind of anger management issue or an overprotective streak in the beginning of the movie, hinting at what he does later on in the film.

Shallow and Pedantic.

The Rock.

I like this suggestion. If you want creepy innawoods ideas, look up /k/ greentext threads on the subject. There are a lot of gems posted if you've got the patience to sift through the dumb fake & gay shit.

Faceswap filter thing on Snapchat, it does look really goofy if the other face is far away because of pixels. Not quite like in the gif, I know what you're saying, but it looks pretty MS paint-ish.

I like this.

Lol, that's alright in my books.

We're homo sapiens (thinking man), friend. Did you mean neanderthals?

Would watch.

This sounds to similar to Cam (2018)

You haven't read the books or know anything about Paulides, do you?

As for the OP, I'd love to see something based on the comic Manifest Destiny. It's about a bunch of soldiers and criminals travelling by boat westwards through the unexplored US on a mission to "clear the way" and document mysterious giant arches. There's a secret mission as well. Cryptids and madness ensue.

A movie documenting how Captain Marvel breaks all box office records and becomes the most celebrated piece of art in herstory.

This seems familiar.

So Drive 2: Electric Bogaloo?
