What the fuck did you just fucking say about Alita, you little worm? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the tranny-discord, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids from reddit, and I have over 3000 confirmed shitposts. I am trained in sweety-warfare and I’m the top bumper in the entire /ABAG/ thread. You are nothing to me but another softbody. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen on this board, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over Yea Forums? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of shills across India and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, worm. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your post. You’re fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can bump threads in over seven hundred ways, and that’s with only my reddit images. Not only am I extensively trained in textual combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of WB marketing department and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable posts off the thread, you little shit. If only you could have known what ungodly retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking keyboard. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re reaping the goddamn rewards, you goddamn idiot. I will Alita-post all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking dead, ‘patrician’.
Dylan Scott
I've only been able to afford to see it twice. I wish I could go everyday. I'm sorry if I let Alita down. :(
Good luck, user. A real human bean and a real hero
Oliver Ramirez
how do you fuckers have so many generals of this shitty movie. it's almost as sad as /vg/ being on their 3614th general
Daniel Wilson
I'm going in a few minutes to watch it in imax
Ian Carter
Could imagine
Jaxson Sanders
You can talk about live action adaptations on Yea Forums. Making a thread isn't "shilling". Calm down shizoid sperg.
Christian King
I have a job. I have a business. Hobby. Instead of doing something, I read two Alita general threads on two imageboards. And I try to convince myself not to go to the cinema every day. I was sure it was too old for such shit. I was not even going to watch Alita. Friends called me, I didn’t want to go yet. And it turned out that something long forgotten is still alive inside.
Whoever is doing that is wasting his time. Some will probably watch it but the thing will never be discussed there. Have anyone tried shilling in /m/? Those boomers probably eat it up
>all the tasteless shitskin twitter/facebook and Yea Forums alita tourists posting like they're posting here lmao
Nolan Young
Alita is love. Alita is life
Jeremiah Lopez
Yea Forums has zero OC now. Mods got worse and the board is boring as fuck, threads are always the same shit. I blame DBS and ironic steamfaggots.
Austin Green
I know the feeling. I had the whole weekend ahead of me driving home from work yesterday morning when I decided to throw on the OST and now all I want to do is go see it again.
I told myself I'd never fall for this shit again after the last time, but here my sorry ass is.
I thought BR2049 was the end of the line for me. I spent money on tickets for that movie as if it really were the last movie I would ever see in theaters. Something impossible like that gets made once in a century.
Then Alita comes in and changes all the rules. Everything is different now.
Watching Blade Runner 2049 in theaters was pure addiction. With the soundtrack cranked up and the bass cranked up too, I pretty much was re watching it in theaters JUST to hear the soundtrack again.
Dylan Williams
8 times, I’m sorry I can’t make 99 please forgive. Bless JC, RR, Rosa and the Omnissiah for your machine body.
Elijah Lopez
You know the, the origin reveal in Last Order was kinda good, but no way they can adapt that into film. Also, they vampire thing was kinda dumb, it would fit much better if they were the first androids.
>artbook is on a month long back order Goddamnit, I should have ordered ealier, but I needed to get paid first. How does it take a month to print some more books?
Yeah I’ve seen this pic posted here before. But that user has my back through the power of love that is alita.
Jace Green
Glad I saw BR2049, Alita (twice so far), Mad Max, and Dredd in theaters. I should have done BR2049 in IMAX.
Evan Green
What scene is this pic. The end?
Christopher Baker
he's so cute, I can't wait to take my girlfriend and family to see him again! >tfw healed by attila
Christian Ortiz
I missed 2049 in movie theaters. I regret it every day. But his advertising campaign was not even bad, it was missing. Although this is no excuse for me.
Tyler Rivera
I went to a bunch of different theaters. I was always curious to see how different cinema technologies compared with each other, like Dolby Cinema or laser projection, and Alita was perfect for it.
Same boat as you guys. Saw BR a bunch of times. Also saw spiderverse seven times but that’s not a lot compared to BR and now alita. I usually only do this for a movie every one or two years, even longer in between.
Gavin Long
Just got back from seeing it, kinda wish I saw it in a bigger theater because it was a really pretty film.
I think they balanced the movie out quite well with such elaborate action scenes broken up and escalating until the big pay off. I thought Alita was perfect, she was super warm and cute.
The one part that was kind of hilariously bad yet semi acceptable was Christoph Waltz lugging around that rocket-pickaxe. I couldn't take him seriously as a Hunter.
I saw BR multiple times as well. Funnily enough that movie changed my outlook on life. Began looking for another job, a better one, after the first viewing alone. A year later and I'm literally making double somewhere I"m happy at. This all after being resigned to my fate.
Now with alita I want a taste of what I saw on screen IRL and it's making me rethink about getting a gf for once. It may not be close to alita but maybe it will be a change for the better.
>how They didn't expect to sell a lot, probably because they weren't expecting Alita to be as popular, and stock ran out when they were proved wrong on both accounts.
Noah Hall
I loved your work in conquering China Attila!
Eli Hernandez
I had to drive about 600 miles to do it, but I had fun.
Levi Rivera
That part was awesome and shows that RR and JC understand the spirit of anime
Samuel Myers
saw it three times in theaters. Once with my brother, once with my dad and a final time all to myself.
I have a strong urge to see Alita again. I might try to find a big screen this time.
Her reaction to Ido showing up at the bar was too cute for words.
Nicholas Bailey
I can get behind that sentiment.
I must say, the costume design was quite exquisite as well. Zapan's shoulder cape and Alita's wardrobe stood out in particular, but it was all really good.
her meeting uggo for the first time and showing him her hands. that is pure, unadulterated first crush level reactions. not even the best escort in the world can give you what she gave hugo in that scene
I noticed on rewatch Ido wasn't just being cute wondering what Alita dreamed about, she briefly has REM twitches while they're rebuilding her.
Elijah Nguyen
Got what I think is a new to abag webm here. Its the sword raise at the end of the movie with plasma. The original in higher rez mp4 is on the russian site shown above. Bunch of other cool mp4s too.
>I don't know what I'm doing but I know I can still kick your ass
Jayden Lopez
and by the way all, her awakening scene mirrors a baby's growth from sleeping slug into someone with a basic self-identity as marked by her looking at her mirror and seeing her own naked body. (her body, given to her by her dad, which she will eventually rebel against as she gains her own sense of identity as a hunter warrior shown metaphorically in the movie as a literally different body) also the dog blood is menstruation and grewishkas lengthening grindcutters were penis shaped. i'll type up something longer for you guys in a future general cus theres a bunch of shit like this in the movie as other anons have brought up before.
For everyone despairing over the prospects of a sequel or the movie's run, there's two important points to remember. Firstly, don't give up hope. Box office isn't what it used to be when it comes to long term plans.
Secondly and more importantly remember that this film really should never have been made. It took 20 years to happen. We shouldn't have been lucky enough to have been alive to have seen this movie. Three weeks ago I didn't give a single shit about most things. Life hit a wall and I didn't see a way out. But finding this movie by chance, and shitposting with everyone in this general was just the slight push back on track that I needed.
You can't lose if you've already won. And no matter what happens, we won. Stay comfy
no its cameron beign an autist and writing a story that manages to include hero's journey stuff, the psychological growth stages of a girl in particular, religious symbolism like in the final church hugo scene. cameron knows his shit and its obvious every line was prepared by him for a long time.
Cameron Nguyen
Will this general still be up when the incoming Captain Marvel film drops and inevitably floods this board?
Thank you for the words brother. I will continue posting in the alita generals until the bitter end but as you said. We have won immensely for we have been healed(tm) by Alita.
James Diaz
Melting to Ido in the Motorball locker room indirectly confessing she has a bf and when he made her custom roller feet. I think this is the last scene she's completely happy as a "grown up" Berserker cyborg before the revenge arc starts unfolding.
Lucas Butler
>all of these basement dwelling alt-right incels now want a latinx bot gf >still love Trump and want to kick out all the brown people
Peruvians are honorary at this point for giving us Moner and Rosa. Rest of you spics can fuck off tho :^)
Colton Diaz
nobody wants to kick out the brown people, just the illegals nice bait btw
Joshua Carter
Pure shock. Really can’t give Rosa enough credit, her expressions are just so fucking good
Charles Jenkins
uhh, illegals arent all brown you fucking racist
Thomas Hernandez
Nova revealed as Edward Norton was a legitimately nice surprise. I kept looking at him saying to myself "I know this dude..." and sure enough, there he was.
Joseph Kelly
Add a santa hat and snow/ice on the windows and it'd be a perfect Christmas photo.
Hunter Davis
Geez that's kind of depressing.
Justin Davis
You rub a magic lamp and this genie offers you an Alita gf. However, you must give up your eyesight.
Cons >cringe dialog >too much shit crammed into a single movie >that in turn ruins the romance completely >romance further crushed by miscast hugo >no R rating that hamstrings the action when the action is basically the only actually great thing in the movie >tried to be too faithful in too many details that actively ruin what could have been good scenes, mostly dialog/henchmen shit like "little flea" and evil laughter like it's a fucking saturday morning cartoon count chocula
It's a damn shame, it could have been pretty good.
In addition to this I'd be more worried about Alita's sequel prospects if Edge of Tomorrow, of all things, didn't already have a sequel in production.
Assuming Cameron also doesn't pull a Shyamalan and breaks his Avatar(s) piggybank if post-DVD/BD numbers are still not enough.

Yes. We must forge onward past #100. The Disney shills and Alita doomposters are counting on /abag/ to die at #100. At the rate /abag/ is going (about 6 threads a day) #100 will fall around Tuesday probably. Come Wednesday MCU shills will storm the board in hopes of pushing CM. /abag/ needs to run strong straight into the bastards. The /abag/ is literally a middle finger at Disney and its CM shitty movie. It needs to stay up as long as possible because of this and because Alita a cute.
Went for my 4th viewing today. All prior times I saw it the theatre was near dead. Today the theatre was almost full. Granted it was a rainy Saturday afternoon, so that was probably a factor.
James Smith
The comfy levels of that pic just went through the roof with that mental image. >Slow snowfall outside. >Wakes up during Christmas. >Presents and hot cocoa waiting downstairs. >Childlike wonder and joy at the sight of snow and presents. >She didn't take the path of war and didn't lose all of her loved ones.
>put em up, faggot! Jeez, Raimi, I know you hate gays and all, but this felt a little much.
Carter Howard

>I don't mean to be rude, but am I suppose to know who you are?
That look she gives was so sincere.
Thomas Cook
It was still much more believable in the manga for many reasons.
Leo Morales
Nah, let her sleep and allow the Fungus to run its course. We shall reawaken when the BD drops.
Jace Thompson
Just realized there is an Open Matte version of BR2049
Elijah Fisher
>tfw ywn celebrate Christmas with Alita I think I'd give her some chocolate and a cool trench coat with '99' written on the back.
Matthew Brooks
You are fee to do whatever you want. /abag/ will be fine without you doomposter.
Mason Rodriguez
that's the rules apparently more than that and you get an R rating must protect young virgin ears I guess
Christopher Jones
Reminder there will be a sequel. Alita is a cult classic already.
Nathaniel Phillips
Man an announcement of a sequel would implode this board
Blake Cruz
>dude lets just give up something we enjoy to be sure Disney's Captain Marvel gets her turn why?
Juan Bennett
most of your cons are non issues, really
What's wrong with "little flea"?
Noah Nelson
Just seems like you wanted another movie.
Jackson Young
It won't get a sequel so it's not like it matters who is best villain
Elijah Gomez
Just saw the film again with my grandmother, I'm the poster from earlier. She really liked it, discussed it afterwards and all the little details in the script. She had actually been to Weta Workshop in New Zealand so she appreciated all the work into the visual effects. Going to go again for a seventh time tomorrow, but my biggest mission yet. Will drive fifty miles to go to the closest IMAX 3D theater to see Alita in true glory. Love you guys!
Damn thats dedication, nothing's too much for /ourgirl/ though
Noah Young
That orange scene was adorable, I'll give you that.
Caleb Brooks
based granny
Jayden Long
I kept noticing details I previously missed. You don't want to catch those in a house screen for a movie you already loved. I also wanted to watch Motorball scenes in a big screen just one more time, each time. Audience reactions have also been interesting.
James Harris
Not as adorable as your face when the sequel gets announced.
Wyatt Mitchell
People mainly going as couples at my theater. Good date movie. It has a little Titanic magic in it.
Connor Hernandez
I'd go see that too, maybe the sequel could be better than the first. Wouldn't be too hard.
Hunter Flores
Anybody else saw this movie at an imax with laser? I went to the one in dallas at northpark awhile back and really enjoyed it. Shame the theater only had a handful of people though.
Where's the poster who was going to save Alita from Capt. Goldbond?
Gavin Ross
When Grewishka first leaves after their first fight, and she's looking down and twitching like crazy from the adrenaline, I thought that was pretty good. Nice little details that help with the scene. Good acting. I never even heard of this broad but she's not bad.
David Reed
Technically yes. I saw it in Cinemark XD, but it's not that same, it doesn't have the extra image space IMAX does. So yeah, first time in the 6 times I've seen it, I will see it in true IMAX 3D. Can't fucking wait.
Carter Richardson
the only guy who will make this call is Cameron and he has taken bigger risks in his life than making a sequel based on a mitigated success I say mitigated success because even if it just barely makes its money back, it still has amassed a substantial audience and the reception from those who have seen it has been largely positive, even with people obsessing over and seeing it multiple times and you can tell he really wants to do it ca.news.yahoo.com/james-cameron-shares-secret-behind-surprise-celebrity-cameo-alita-means-future-spoilers-175327610.html another interesting thing Rodriguez said was that Fox saw the movie as a bargain, because he shots faster than Cameron so he was able to do it at a more reasonable price. A Cameron made Alita would have cost twice as much
Christian Taylor
How do you fuck Alita? She's all barbie doll down there
Charles Johnson
Finally saw it.
It was just like my Chinese cartoons and more.
Wyatt Williams
Watching this for the 3rd time - this time in 4DX in a few hours
Got my alita themed popcoin ready
So PUMPED
Lincoln Baker
Watching Cameron talk about it makes me feel warm inside. He really does care, and that does give me hope for a better sequel. It'll probably be awesome because at least that fucking guy that played Hugo won't be around.
Nicholas King
>imax with laser what is this?
Angel Green
Unironically based and considerate user. Keep up with the smart presents it's a great way to show that you care to someone you love irl too
Rad dude. Its sooooo fuckin worth it. This movie has so much depth. Even in the non action scenes. Plus Vector's shades look amazing.
Jack Barnes
go away Brie.
Evan James
In terms of reactions, I could only really gauge the middle aged couple sitting next to me who based on their commentary during and after, I would say they were very entertained.
On an interesting note, there were a large amount of women and girls in the audience.
Julian Collins
Most likely wrestling with the local theater guards while defending Alita's honor. I have full confidence in him though. Evil will never triumph and user will pull through, even if he has to beat up the staff.
Buddy, she's a real woman with real needs. She can fuck if she damn well pleases. Just try to stop her.
Henry Long
You don't.
Josiah Adams
Saw it tonight and fuckin loved it
Connor Sanders
I finish to see it for the first time
I love alita and I hope a second movie for this, I almost cry in some of the scenes and I never have that feeling in any movie, I connect with the characters , that scene when Alita giv her heart was fucking intense, why theres not a qt girl like alita to marry with, guys? Why women nowadays are all instasluts and not pure and inocent like her?
Anyways hope this movie beat captain america an get more popular, planning to see it at least 2 more times in cinema
Jayden Flores
I hope he did it. Also Captain Marvel's standee is just a roll up canvas.
Jaxon Stewart
Depends of the body, probably. The berserker body and the imaginos/all later bodies probably could do the sex. The daughter, motorball, and spy body not so much.
David Richardson
Captain fungus*
Eli Campbell
What would fucking Alita even feel like?
Jordan Garcia
Do I do it boys? Do I go see Alita one last time this week for my 7th time?
Berserker body might be like warm plastic, who knows with the later bodies. Imaginos and everything after are basically space magic.
Logan Morgan
Alita as a child had a dog killed by looters. This movie is amazing.
Christopher Ross
I wonder what would happen if you came inside of her
Tyler Bell
>General is still hovering around +80 posters despite being close to 100 Got to admit this is some staying power right there. I think everyone here has genuinely fallen in love with Alita the film. Whatever the case may be, it's maximum comfy. I'm off to bed good night guys!
>that scene when Alita giv her heart was fucking intense, why theres not a qt girl like alita to marry with, guys?
There are but they are fucking CRAZY you dumb piece of shit. They'd eat you alive you stupid FUCK.
Fuck YOU
Caleb Price
You know that makes me wonder, was Ido going to condemn his daughter to a life without sex? What would his daughter have to do to fuck? Ask her dad for a body with holes?
Just got back from seeing this. Much better than I expected. Why the fuck is the RT score so low? Why do film critics have such dog shit taste? I really loved this movie and really hope there is a sequel.
If you can afford it and have the time then, yah do it. Once its out of theatres 3D is gone for good. On the big screen is always better then a tv too. If you don't care about 3D or big screens after 7 goes already I guess do whatever.
Carson Peterson
I thought it was a bit convoluted with all its plot points, you can tell Cameron is losing his touch on storytelling. I'd say i'm hype for a sequel but I cant because I know he's going to try to make 6 more of these while ignoring the actual story and just hamming it up for the weebs who post these threads.
Liam Wilson
>she is a girl and she will do what I want >Alita >she will do what I want Good luck. Do not forget to write a will.
Thomas Torres
Because the movie was a SHITTY romance first and s-f movie SECOND you dumb piece of SHIT And nobody likes shitty Romances unless they're FAGGOTS like you
Luke Hall
yes, it's a tight race for a sequel, every dollar counts she needs your help
The romance was fine. Most movies have a romance subplot. It was kinda cute seeing Alita fall in love.
I think they are just pretentious fucks who can't enjoy a fun movie and need pseudo intellectual dramas with hamfisted progressive politics to give a good score.
I know that feel. At a very minimum user you need to get your life in a good place so you can block out time when the Blu ray drops to watch her in the highest quality again
Twice. I'm going again next Tuesday. It is quite incredible that my shithole country has IMAX 3D.
Grayson Ward
I wondered, did Alita smear her cheeks with doggo blood to look like her senpai?
Nathaniel White
They made almost no effort in michelle's character in having her look different from her. Rosa looks nothing like alita but this has obvious signs of michelle.
Yeah cuz alita is a cute any cute sucesful beatiful girl is hated by those feminists pigs, feminism is like the group of socials rejecteds of womens
Andrew King
new
Brody Wilson
I think it's unfair to blame it on Cameron's screenwriting abilities because his script was much longer it's Rodriguez who had to edit it down because from my understanding, the script was simply too long or Rodriguez couldn't be trusted with a 3 hour big budget epic, they had to scale it down a bit
Logan Morgan
>yfw when this movie reminded you that you missed out on teenage love because you weren't a chad lite like Hugo
I did BR2049 in both IMAX and the Dolby atmos theatre. Pure kino. Imax was a feast for the eyes but the dolby was my favorite viewing kino for the ears and soul especially for that soundtrack
Kevin Jackson
convolutedDictionary result for convoluted /ˌkɒnvəˈl(j)uːtJd/Submit Learn to pronounce adjective 1. (especially of an argument, story, or sentence) extremely complex and difficult to follow
Fucking retard. Don't use words you don't understand. If you actually think the story of Alita is convoluted, you have the brain of a toddler.
Joseph Brown
Its more like they hate it because she's strong while also being feminine and cute. That's the combo which triggers the feminist the most.
Elijah Mitchell
Post yfw it's 2028 and Alita has ushered in the era of comfy cyberpunk waifu cinema >Iria >Armitage >(good)GitS >Appleseed >Dominion
Is Erica and in that book at all? I read you can see her in the flashbacks but I never could spot her.
Aiden Jackson
IMAX was great
Nolan Jackson
Just got back from my third viewing. >Friend brought along a sperg. >Thought he knew all about Alita, despite only seeing the OVA >Nearly spoiling the other guy with his rambling. >Sat in the wrong seat and made a thing out of getting up when a couple came to sit down. >Sat there going "Sequel, Sequel" during certain scenes and then "No sequel, No sequel" when we got to robot-Hugo. >When we leave, he goes on about there not being any new content to make a sequel, despite me having told him the series is ongoing Alita was there for me through it all and I was able to have a good time.
Gavin Martin
Not that I could find. There's very little art shown of anything before the movie, timeline wise.
