I don't get it,what was his master plan? He didn't seem to have a single goal he wanted to accomplish and nothing he did made any sense.

it doesnt make sense in the show because they just didn't have the time for it. in the books sansa is at the center of his plans. she's an heir to winterfell, riverrun, and he's trying to marry her off to the heir of the eyrie. he's trying to control everything through sansa.
