the 1933 one is hyperbased. the anti-woman jokes on the boat are kino as fuck. the peter jackson one is mostly based. the 70s one with the twin towers is certified NOT BASED.

one of Hitlers favorite movies.

Zoomers are fags and don’t appreciated hand crafted work and skill. So, they will hate the amazing stop motion and bitch “mu realism”’while watching CGI capeshit

based

reminder that godzilla whups this lil bishes ass

So what? If made Cloverfeild monster more powerful than Godzilla, does that make it better?

There’d be no Godzilla or any giant monster movies as we know them today without this movie.

I liked Son of Kong.

Trips of Truth
Zoomers don't like any effects that are not CGI.

How times have changed. I wonder what were the reactions back then.

>OLD THING GOOD!!!

Reminder that Kong canonically won their last fight and will win next fight too.

>amazing
it looks bad. it's never looked good, remember The Terminator? that was laughable and they had technology.

I'm 22 and I've never seen it or the OG Godzilla.
I honestly have a really hard time getting immersed into something with primitive effects. If there's no sense of immersion then I might as well be watching shadow puppets.

Remider that he canonically didn't and you'll never be able to find a comment from any of the makers of the movie like Tanaka saying that it wasn't a draw.

Cooper wanted the sequel to be bigger than the first movie. If only he was given time to do it.

wasn't a fair fight. he used a stick

Why not just use CGI? People in the 30s were retarded.

At least he got to use his Styracosaurus puppet.

>king kong returning triumphantly from the water with godzilla nowhere to be seen
>a draw
They just don't want to hurt any feelings user.

Or running away because water is Godzilla's turf? Or maybe you have the unseen extended version that shows what happened underwater? If not I'm gonna stick with what I see and what I read the people involved in it said (which shouldn't be the case what we see in the movie should've been enough but that's the nature of crossovers).

Damn it's going to simply die like the first thread, right?

You have to wonder what things would be like today if Kong followed the same trajectory as Godzilla and had many many movies where he fights new monsters.

It's not a franchise making movie unless they made it like Universal by loosely alluding to the previous movies but basically remaking it over and over (because before the age of home release the public wouldn't know the difference). Japanese quickly stopped killing their monsters and even if they did the continuity was loose. Looks like American's prefered monsters fighting and losing to their mighty military while in the Japanese movies the military is often on the losing side against the nature. Really makes you think.

Hey man! That was Godzulu , the little brother of Godzilla, that nigger is in trouble.

That's true, I watched KK when I was 8 or 10, was cool then, but I think that watching these movies as kid gives you better film taste later.

retarded movies for old people. Let's face it, that looked retarded even then.
>a-at least the story was good
"No!"

>godzilla lost to a stick

ur not helping ur case

I only managed to watch Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla in 2001 and then nothing for a couple years but I still visited Godzilla websites and forum it's like I just decided to be interested in these movies knowing I will like them. And we were just teens fascinated with this. Normally you'd think that the youth would find pre-cgi special effects embarassing but we loved it, movies like Clash of the Titans were very popular. They can still be, theyre good movies to watch with kids because all violence is very unnatural anyway and they're interesting to look at.

Sorry your pasta is extremely boring and lame no matter how many times you post it.

Fuck off! The plane's fighting scene was awesome! Impossible to match right now.

I actually just typed it but thanks.
