When did you quit Star Wars?

Mostly when I saw the nig reveal in the trailer. I 100% quit about 15 minutes in to TFA

>I need someone to show me my place
Umm, racist and sexist much

I specifically remember the moment that I officially stopped caring was when Poe said he had a message about Hux's mother

When i realized
>THIS is a 10/10 Aryan specimen according to white people

I started regretting paying for a ticket about fifteen minutes into TFA

Haven't paid for or watched any part of it since

When I realized she is wastiny her time with this shit series not playing PewDiePie in his inevitable biopic

After The Force Awakens. The movie was so bad, I quit watching Disney Star Wars. Haven't seen any of the others.

When I saw what they did to Luke in TLJ

when i was 15 in 2005

I'M GONNA SAY IT!

When they killed Admiral Ackbar in passing just to propel Holdo into the spotlight. That's when i knew I wasn't the audience they wanted.

i still haven't watched attack of the clones, although i did watch ROTS and TFA

After only watching tfa then watching a Chinese rip of TLJ.

after TLJ
I wish I didn't give it another chance after TFA, I wouldn't be left with as bitter of a taste in my mouth

Kek this. Luke throwing away the saber was sorta of a head scratcher but that yo mama sealed the deal

Jar Jar

The force awaken put it in the grave

The last jedi put in the nails

Episode 9 will put it in the grave

After Episode 1

walked out here

TLJ. I didn't even hate the movie after seeing it, but it felt like a 7/10. Didn't feel like anything special compared to the old movies, just felt like a standard Marvel movie. No more interest in the new movies now.

When JJ Abrams arrived.

This. It was so obvious at that point they had an agenda to push, everything that followed socially and politically wasn't greatly surprising. It was refreshing and inspiring to see people voting with their feet.
It seems the latest Avenger film found a way around that by buying out entire cinema complexes, but it'll be interesting to see if people bother attending.

When I walked out of TLJ.

never

As soon as i heard the cut the EU entirely.

But you said that TFA already put it in the grave?

After the first movie. Realized Star Wars is shit.

Uwot

The phantom menace

When they brought in teddy bears for the Return of the Jedi.

Which is exactly when everyone should have quit.

ah-bloo-bloo

>disney removes the expanded universe
okay, interesting, let's see if they can replace it with something better
>the first order(empire) fights against the resistance(rebel allianc)
yawn
>another skywalker spawn turns to the dark side
how come no one has gotten the idea to kill every force sensitive yet? they seem to constantly be one bad day away from murdering everyone
>the villain is some unkown dark force user named Supreme Leader Snoke
what kind of fucking name is Snoke anyhow?
>heroes include a scavanger who instantly picks up flying, shooting, and fighting with a lightsaber without any prior stated experience
this is getting ridiculous
>the other main character is a janitor/stormtrooper gone rogue
how come he had no issues killing the people he just before was fighting alongside?
>han solo is back smuggling and leia back leading the rebels... er - I mean the resistance
this is honestly one of the more disappointing things about the new trilogy, at least give Han something to believe and strive for instead of pulling a 180 in the character development of the character
>planet sized death star
wait what?
>first order conquers the whole galaxy... as in all of it... simultaneously
fuck star wars

i think your first "grave" should be *coffin.

TFA was kinda meh, but I could see it was going to explain the story of rey in later movies and could potentially redeem itself. (Like if Rey was a mind wiped jedi or knight of ren etc)

Then TLJ came out and I read that it didn't. Thus making TFA crap. The handling of the OG characters was an extra straw.

I mean the prequels were pretty fucking disappointing but they didn't make me that angry.

I saw the first Disney Star Wars movie in theaters with my family at Christmas and I promised myself that I wouldn't dare see any more of them. The prequels were goofy as hell, the newer ones are just downright boring.

I haven't quit Star Wars.
I just don't plan to see episode 9.

Sometime Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.
Prequel apologists running purely on contrarianism really annoy me around here. These movies are shit.

Back in 99 about 10 minutes after Jake Lloyd has his first line of dialogue.

>TFA comes out
OK that was kind of fun, weird and dumb, but slightly promising - I guess I'll re-watch it after the next episode when this becomes more serious.
>TLJ comes out
Are they trying to make people hate them, because that's what this sort of BS does.
>Seeks out Star Wars message boards for the first time to commiserate with other fans, because I'd never been particularly interested in the fandom before
>Learns about Rogue One
OK, that was much better than both the episodic movies, what the hell is going on in Lucasfilm
>Starts reading the Expanded Universe instead.

100% after Last Jedi

I went to see episode 7 and left about 30 minutes in. It just bored me and I realized that Disney Wars had a specific vision in mind that I wasn't interested in so I just dropped the series. Same thing happened when I took my little brother to see Disney Avengers 2, I just lost interest. Disney overall has a vibe to their movies that I don't like.

I was butthurt when the EU got deleted but I decided that I would stay along for the ride because the movie seemed promising. George was supposed to be involved after all.
Once TFA came out I was entirely underwhelmed and hated the movie but was understanding that they "had to play it safe" as the first new film. But when I saw it a second time, it was clear that the weak story and bad rehashing was only the tip of it's issues. Acting, writing and characters all sucked big time.
The Rogue One came out and made TFA look like a masterpiece in comparison in literally every category and that's when I knew there was no hope.
I gave so few shits about TLJ that I didn't even see it on release night. The backlash kept me away and then when I saw a camrip for myself I knew it was dead and buried. I was so angry about what TLJ and by extension TFA had done to the series that I swore to never again support nuWars but the anger quickly faded when I realized that I had my amazing franchise in the Lucas era. All of the old EU still exists and I had read it all, the original Saga still exists as a cohesive whole, so for me, the franchise ended when the EU was canned, and I don't need anything more from it.

Last Jedi was the last straw when it comes to the movies.

I still enjoy the universe and enjoy playing the tabletop RPG.

The sinking feeling during a second screening of the fistfuck awakens. It was so bad

When Poe said "Who talks first"
Completely lost me and realized I won't enjoy any disney star wars

1999

"Meesa called Jar Jar Binks"

"This will begin to make things right."

when tlj came out and i immediately watched a russian camrip of it rather than going to the kinoplex

I only saw Episode I, I don't care about others and I don't plan to see them 2bh

when my brother swapped my collection of original star wars figurines for half a dozen footy cards.

cunt.
