His less political pieces are actually watchable, in my opinion. I find him funny sometimes, but had it right about how he repeats the joke while getting progressively louder which I find annoying.
His political pieces are groan-worthy, not simply because he's so obviously liberal. It's more due to the fact that it's so obviously biased. There is plenty of material to be had from both sides of the political spectrum, but by almost completely ignoring the absurdity of the left, the audience is led to believe that ONLY conservatives are retarded. His "to be fair..." concessions are extremely brief, so his political pieces are really nothing more than scathing conservative bashing punctuated by a brief, mild comment about an occasional silly thing a liberal did once. He'll go on and on about those whacky right-wing chimpsy doodlies and how evil they are, and then give a 3 second joke about Obama's drone strikes on innocents before going back to how evil the conservatives are for the next 13 minutes.
He's a liberal mouthpiece catering to the left and only the left, and I'd find him more entertaining if he focused less on politics which is already done to death.
