Most of the characters weren’t well enough written and fleshed out for me to give a shit about, particularly the “good” characters.
The plot once Furiosa reaches were she was going was basically similar to that of Mad Max Thunderdome, after that they added the “feel good” resolution.
Also, the whole film was basically a Gay, Leather, Sadomasochism, bondage flick as far as costumes go. It made me realize how much gay leatherbar type stuff was in the earlier films, even the first one.

Monica teamed-up with Wanda and Doctor Strange to fight freakin' Dracula himself.
Carol... lost her powers to normal mutant with only one power Rogue.

To be fair, it's about unbridled passion, not violence. Almost everyone wants someone who is full of passion as a partner.

The whole point of Atomic Blonde was that it was about a Blonde Valkyrie type femal spy running around East Germany getting into gun fights, car chases, and other action sequences, while an 80s soundtrack played.
The trailer explained exactly that, so nobody going to see it was likely misinterpreting what they were going to see.
It was also a stand alone film, so it wasn’t shiting on any past films or franchises.
P.S. was there some type of intelligence paper release from the East German Cold War period that implied there was a highly placed US double agent in the intelligence community or something.
