I watched this but surprisingly doesn't remember a thing aside from the fact that hercules has that one comic relief sidekick tagging along with him. Xena is slightly more memorable or maybe that's because I am more focused whenever Lucy Lawless is on screen.

>you will never be an ancient greek child
>you will never live in a medium size town
>you will never have a female blacksmith
>you will never sneak into her shop when you hear the hammer clanging against the anvil
>you will never sneak peaks at her muscular sweaty body when she's focused on working
>you will never have your awakening with your town bros

It's not fare!

>show's

Does it show him murdering his wife and kids, or is this nothing to do with the greek Hercules?

They die in the first episode but I'm pretty sure he doesn't kill them, hera does.

that seems very out of character for him to be so upset

well yes but she kills them through putting a spell on him to rip them apart

eitherway Im glad an adaptation tries to be somewhat like the myth

You misunderstood me. I couldn't remember if in the show Ares or Hera did it. Herc kill them in the show they were hit by a fireball or a comet or some other silly projectile. Outside of them dying it's nothing like the myths. Just a few names you might remember popup here and there.

Thus show had the greatest clip shows.

Herc didn't*

FUCK OFF GABRIELLE

truth

Not really. Greek heroes could really act like assholes. It's christianity that ruined everything with their moralfaggotry.

very true. it is well known Hercules would kill servants accidentally (through still not controlling his strength) and think nothing of it

Theseus is the thinking man's hero

ABSOLUTE KINO show intro

Xena was better

Was going to post this

I'm 30 and loved watching Hercules as a kid. the babes in this show, the campy tone, the practical set design, the camera work. So comfy. I have no idea if I'd still like it today.

I know my 65 year old former co-worker was a fan as well. The appeal of Hercules transcends generations =)

I was young as heck though when wathcing. I still feel like remember a lot, but probably don't.

I wish they still made light-hearted adventure shows with monster of the week. It's all about >muh twists to hook in braindead normalslimes, >muh grimdark complicated characters, forced diversity and feminist bullshit.
Fucking loved both this and Xena as a kid.

Same, 29 here.

Sinbad was probably my favourite out of all those adventure shows.

If you like man-hating dykes and grrrl power womyn stronk propaganda.

>t. incel

>Theseus is the thinking man's hero
Odysseus is the thinking man's hero.
