I saw this, am a Kraut and liked it.
A few too many characters to keep track of, especially with the jumping back and forth in times.

But overall it gets pretty interesting after the buildup and everything is established, I like the dark tone and all the characters railing against their fates uselessly. Plus the conversations about time were pretty neat.

I am cautiously optimistic about the second season, I hope they don't fuck it up.

I've seen it and I really like it. Would like to see how they take it in season 2.

I loved it. Everything was pretty great, and I didn’t even realize it was foreign at first. Noah is based I’m curious to see where the story goes

Are all kraut series so fucking SLOW? Seriously I wanted to like this but it just went on and on with character drama that I just stopped watching.

Pretty comfy series.

not kraut, but lived there for a long time and speak german. it was so very refreshing to see a german tv show that wasn't utter horse shit. pacing was great and had me wondering interested and intrigued
yeah, i hope they focus more on noah, but i hope they dont ruin him. i liked that he was creepy and vague
if you think this is bad, i've got some bad news for you. this is one of the best german shows ive ever seen. they're notoriously terrible.

Some of the best time travel out there.
Great stuff.
Zoomer faggots won't like it.

This is the only piece of watchable German media, aside from Das Leben der Anderen, so hard to say.

>german
bin it.

>complaining about it being slow when all we get is ADHD zoomer series
Nah, it's paced perfectly.

SEASON 2 WHEN?

really though it took me a few tries to get into it but it was pretty comfy and interesting so I'm looking forward to season 2 even though it will probably be a letdown cause the future timeline is gonna suck.

It was nice, but the mystery was way too easy to solve. The references were way too obscure, and some actors failed to give life to the characters.

do zoomers really not like this because it's "slow paced?" fuck. am i old?
absolute ultimate german /kino/ in both senses
it? du meinst "ick" t. berliner

Is it dubbed to English?

There are English dubs, yeah. It's way better in German with subs though. I promise.

Stranger Things ripoff

>it is vaguely sci-fi / sci-fa and involves the 80s, therefore it must be a stranger things rip off.
/comfy/

>Stranger Things ripoff

Was more of a Twin Peaks ripoff. There was tv before netflix.

I hated how they ended the season but aside from that, I liked it quite a bit because it was comfy as fuck, writing was nothing special but good for what it was.

The only reason I didn't predict future Jonas was because the actor 100% did not look 33 years older than young Jonas.

I went into it wanting to watch a nice self contained story, ended up with a time travel to the future cliffhanger that I really wasnt expecting nor wanted. Other than that it was alright.

I always try to not guess shit when watching something, but it never works. That was one of the first ones I guessed though when Old Jonas is talking to Young Jonas in 1986 about never being born if he "rescues" Mikkel.

>looks at camera
>welcome to the future™

Yep. This scene is when the show absolutely hooked me. I was already invested, but I was way into it after this.

This show really did have a great soundtrack. youtube.com/watch?v=485JdPROtvw
