Two questions
1. Why is this the best show ever?
2. Who is the best character and why is it Reese?
Two questions
1. Why is this the best show ever?
2. Who is the best character and why is it Reese?
Agreed and agreed. Hal and Dewey are a close second tho.
1. Because it's tightly written. Episodes are always multiplotted and unfold in a fast pace. Nothing ever gets boring no matter how banal the plot may be.
2. Malcolm. Not up for debate.
1) it's better than most
2) either stewey or brian
Malcolm is good but if you're watching the show for its comedic value, Reese never fails to deliver. I'm on my first binge through and I preemptively laugh before Reese even opens his mouth.
1. Because it's well written and genuinely funny
2. Because Reese is based and redpilled
Their house just sucks.
Reese shows real growth.
after not being inspired by school he finds a true passion and rocks.
Dewey is kind of just there. Malcolm went from being sympathetic to not.
Hal is a close second because he's likable for the entire run.
Reese finding his passion is one of the most kino and wholesome moments in television
Too bad they don't capitalize on that later on.
I think it's because we all knew a Reese or were Reese growing up.
>Dewey
Reminder that Dewey was raped and raped until they broke him.
I've said this exact same thing. Reese is the quintessential stupid shithead asshole kid with no intelligence or empathy. If the show took place five years later, he'd play first person shooters and know way too much about military history and tech.
I think part of the sitcom formula is to bring everything back to square one by the beginning of the next episode, unless it's a multi-part arc.
For me it's Hal
I like Hal as a character but I can't get the idea of Cranston molesting Dewey out of my head.
>Reese you're crazy
>They said Einstein was crazy, until he started kicking ass
Reese is literally my hero
Molesting him while he took him to "play" with his kids.

Just have to keep telling myself that Hal is not Cranston and Cranston is not Hal.
>hal playing poker with the guys
>mentions he's got a toothache, one of the guys is a dentist
>whole plot devolves into hal drinking ice cold water to aggravate his tooth and them tying him up in a car
Malcolm is my favourite character but perhaps because a cynical narcissist that constantly self sabotages himself is close to home. Each character is great though. Except Jamie who has no real character.
This is one of my favourite sitcoms though, I have no idea why it's not more appreciated now though to be fair it was big back at the time it was broadcasting.
HUCOW GF NOW!!!!!!!!!
I don't think anyone has explicitly said this, but a lot of the behavior of the boys is perfectly exemplary of "boys will be boys" style muh toxic masculinity. People don't want their boys to emulate the Malcolm boys, so they emulate RuPaul instead.
