I still like DBZ but the biggest problem with Z/GT/Super is that they have no goddamn idea about power consistency
Shit the whole point of bringing in power levels originally was meant to be that measuring someone's power just couldn't be done numerically and that theme stuck even until the Freezey fight:
Yajirobe was the weakest of the gang but did more damage to Vegeta than anyone else by cutting off his tail
Dodoria was far stronger than Krillin, but Krillin still fucked him up long enough to run away due to having better techniques and experience
Guldo was weaker than Krillin and Gohan but nearly killed them both thanks to his abilities
Recoome was far stronger than Vegeta, but Vegeta's suprise shot to the face did a fuckload of damage and might've even killed him if Vegeta had been a bit luckier
And finally the first time Freeza actually takes real damage is from KRILLDAWG cutting off his tail
The whole point was that pure power was not the most important thing. Then that fucking changed and every fight became "who powers up more", not "who thinks better on their feet or has the best skills"
