Most of the scenes he wanted to do didnt even get filmed, even before he got booted the movie was unrecognizable from his original story and storyboards, Chris Terrio seems to have thrown most of it out.
Clearly he cant make a directors cut there.
Overall Starting with 2 Superman movies getting merge into one in Man of Steel the DC universe was fucked as some giant experiment on what the studio can get away with.
