This is one of 2 local cinemas that focus on showing movies in the original language (OV), which is why the site is also in English. Since I hate dubbed movies, I always check on their sites.

GOTG had things going for it that separated it from the pack, relatively speaking. It was more outright sci-fi, it dived into the quips and the humor in a way that the other Marvel movies hadn't up to that point, and James Gunn is just a generally competent filmmaker who made his presence felt, letting GOTG feel less milquetoast and committee driven than some other Marvel movies. There was also the angle of "A ragtag group of space pirates", letting the broader audience pick a character they like and gravitate towards.
In stark contrast to all that is Captain Marvel, which looks like virtually every other Marvel movie, explores a sci-fi angle that isn't fresh anymore, and is seemingly focused entirely on Brie Larson, who is at the very least divisive. The thing is, this has to be obvious to the showrunners at Disney, and I can't imagine that they would let hubris tank a multi-million dollar movie solely because they're too proud to recognize what does and does not work
