he's never made a good movie you emo faggot

If Tim Burton stops making movies will Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp go bankrupt?

It's not over until you're dead. Some of the greatest works come from 70+ year old composers or directors.

nop lol
btw reddit arthouse shit doesn't count

Johnny depp made million from potc, you're retarded

Beetlejuice

this one might be okay
i haven't watched this, girls at my primary school were obsessed with it so to me it is a "girl movie" as with johnny scissorhands my girl cousins loved that

Tim Burton hasn't made a good film since Edward scissorhands, he needs to retire

Depp's already bankrupt

Nightmare before christmas

Imagine liking garbage like that

not a movie that's a cartoon or someshit

tim burton helena bonham joby depp wow they're so creEpy and eErie
is this really what americans like?
im surprised the fucking attempt to make more frankenstein vs the mummy shit didn't take off. oh right because that's not sExY creEpy like jonby and heelen. Fucking retarded country

Several of the greatest pieces of classical music were written when the composer was over the age of 70.

Clint Eastwood directed Unforgiven (best picture winner) when he was 62, Mystic River (best picture nominee) when he was 73, Million Dollar Baby (best picture winner) when he was 74, and Letters From Iwo Jima (best picture nominee) when he was 76. Buton is still only 60.

>tim burton helena bonham joby depp wow they're so creEpy and eErie
>is this really what americans like?

>Keaton

Big Eyes was pretty good. So was Frankenweenie. I think Burton is a victim of his own early anf very striking success in that he ain't somehow allowed the occasional flop or sell out like most directors of his calibre. Spielberg doesn't get half the flack for his lows.

Burton has been on a low for 30 years now user

Yeah pretty much this is the only acceptable answer.

Edward Scissorhands is one of my most favourite movies of all time. Nothing anyone can say will change my mind about this pure modern fairy tale.

his good movies don't get financed any more. he could go independant but you know, money so here's to future great mouse detective live action cgi turd monster remake or whatever the fuck

well this board hates everything unless it's a movie about cowboys, soldiers or nazis so i wouldn't take them seriously

The cutest

>”burton has never made a good movie”
>hasn’t watched Burton movies
I seriously don’t understand the mentality of retards

I can't imagine the type of person who would say this unironically

He's been done for a while. He pretty much made it official when he put his personal stuff into a traveling art show. He survived two marriages, made all the movies he wanted to since he was a kid, and most of his ideas have been shot down, so he's recouping the money he lost in the divorce to Helena on a shit Dumbo live action remake, and is pimping out Beetlejuice for a sequel.

The dude is 60, time to retire and relax. He's been out of ideas for a long time.

He's been divorced from Helena for 5 years, he has no fucks to give for her career anymore.
