I used to use mpchc with madvr but then for whatever reason my settings started fucking everything up with my graphics card and I just made the switch to mpv and have been enjoying it so far. I wish there was more options for nnedi3 upscaling other than the prescaler shaders because they have some annoying hardcoded defaults that I don't like and am too lazy to go in and try to change so I've just been using the ewa_lanczos scaling which has been working well enough. I'm normally not much of a fan of lanczos but this implementation is better than normal lanczos. I really enjoy how much snappier it is opening and playing webms and gifs. For my blu ray collection I still use VLC and my old copy of DVDfab passkey 8, I've had a few discs that couldn't be decoded by passkey but that one chink botnet player Laewo or whatever was able to play it so I'll use that if I need to.

Im a pleb so I have a 32" tv as a monitor and wanted to watch my movies in 16:9 to use all the space, even old shows in 4:3 or new movies that are larger, so I used the Crop option in some files it works but now in half of them the screen freezes but the audio stills going on, if I change the resolution again the movie keeps playing like nothing.

Ahh 7 or 8 years ago I used to watch dvd disc or dvd rip movies in an usb around 700mb, or a complete anime series with 50mb per chapter in perfect SD Quality on my old crt.
Netflix on Wii has the comfiest scheme controls, I really miss these times.
Also spaniard and latam pirates develop a bunch of apps and options to stream free stuff on WiiMC, they still working to this day but 480p on a Led, even with the component adapter hurts my eyes.
