Just search the internet for proper technique. Most dudes won't give you shit unless they're absolute faggots because they'll know you're just starting out. People are generally pretty respectful because everyone has to start somewhere. Just don't be a dumbass, try to use proper technique and not too much weight at the start. You'll only get shit or side-glances if you're lifting too much weight like a goof
