The movie is just as much about class, ideas about how your own actions is the only reliable constant. How we internalize all of those around us and how that effects some people.
Basically the movie promotes for accountability and a much truer sense of equality, both of which are lost on many people.

Why do you guys think they didn't give it to BlaKKKlansman? I mean I get why they didn't give it to Roma, they've never gonna give a Netflix movie best picture, not even the Irishman.
