I imagine most business men in movies are libertarian leaning business conservatives. I'm thinking of people like Alec Baldwin in Glengarry Glen Ross where all he cares about is being the best salesmen and isn't really concerned with social issues.

Some more cops like Harry Callahan could be construed as conservative. He's very tough on crime but he isn't too concerned with the rules or following the letter of the law.

to the limited extent that they care about British affairs, American conservatives tend to support the British monarchy (so long as it stays in Britain). to the limited extent that they care about British affairs, American progressives tend to support British (lower-case r) republicanism.
