k, i understand you but still for a space opera it lacks aliens. a lot. and even if there are some, they have marginal role and they are so forgettable.
how come having whole fucking galaxy and shitload of planets , they use only human characters? old ones had jabba hutt or that "it's a trap" fishy guy. they were kinda laughable but still had greater role than in new star wars movies. even these 2000s prequels, as crappy as they were, had creative designs.

Star Wars has the best alien designs in modern cinema right now. The Last Jedi has some of the finest designs I have seen in my life, and I consider myself a Science Fiction fanatic. They are high quality and their impact would be diluted if you had them on screen all the time. I think the balance is perfect as it is. The human cast are exceptional anyway so I don't see why you would want them replaced.
