the problem with got is that it went from being a uniformly great show to a show of action scenes and moments
S1-4 are great, i remember almost every little detail
in S5-7 i am hardpressed to recall any bits of dialogue and the whole thing is covered in a haze. i can recall the storyline, if i so wish, but i can't remember a single word. only things i do remember are the few action scenes, which were spectacular (i.e. hardhome, BoB, that S7 beyond the wall episode, etc.)
