Heisei films aren't very good. Timeline doesn't hold up, the acting and writing is the weakest, and the special effects noticeably worsen with each film after Biollante. The first several Showa films are the best.

Again, just a rumour I've heard, but the tease at the end of KOTM will be about Kong and also Destroyah. And it'll be Kong vs Godzilla whilst the military deals with Destroyah until the finale where it's a 2v1 scenario where only one survives
