Cinematography and lighting

>That subtle off-blue colouring
>the tasteful stoicness of it
>oh my god, it even has a tanline!
How did based Cameron make everything in this scene so dark and moody, yet vivid at the same time? What other kinos have a similar vibe? You can literally feel Arnold’s thoughts in this moment based on the mood of the lighting alone. Masterful.

Traffic (2000) intentionally has different lighting for the 3 different storylines and one of them is that godawful washed out blue shit. It's not even done digitally it's the old school film version of blue-core but it still makes me flinch at the thought of rewatching it
