same holy fuck. Especially after they started banning generals here last year. I only come here for threads like this where there are a few regulars and they're usually always up when the episode airs.

I'm coming super close to straight up dropping the show after how bad the writing has been these past few episodes. It's not even enjoyable in a "so bad it's good" way anymore. It's just stupid. When the absurd things happening each week are because of straight up bad writing and not because the writers are embracing the camp/having fun with it, it's just boring.

It's probably got another season left in it. CW are losing Netflix money so there'll probably be budget cuts on the show, plus they wont get that international money that basically floated the show.

Even with all the waifuposting we'd still post about the show. Or do you not remember everyone shitposting during S2 about Chad ISIS or punished Archie, or mafioso Archie, or basically everything Archie did cause the rest of the season sucked ass. It was the same as Yea Forums and Vampire Diaries, came for the waifus, stayed for the ongoing stupid ass but entertaining plot that everyone enjoyed riffing on.

doubling the episode count after season 1 was the worst decision they could have made. These storylines aren't meant to hold up to the scrunity of being spread out over 24 episodes. It burns the writers out, especially when RAS is also the showrunner of Sabrina now too. It burns the cast out and will probably make them want to leave the show earlier than they would normally. Plus since Netflix is their biggest source of revenue for the show why not embrace the Netflix model of shorter seasons instead of trying to squeeze all the advertising money they can get out of it airing on the CW?
