Dr. Strangelove isn't funny!

I didn't appreciate it the first time I saw it, but rewatched a few weeks ago and it is pretty ahead of it's time. I'm not a laugher but I think I lol'd at the drunk phone call scene and the Coca Cola company.

This and Fail-Safe were amazing movies in their own genres. Same type of story done as a drama and a comedy.

This. It's funny like Coen bros. movies or cartoons in the New Yorker are funny. It elicits a smirk. You acknowledge in your head "that was an ironic thing to have said/done"
But it's not actually funny in the same way that jokes and comedy are funny
