see it again in a few yrs mabe your sense of humor didnt pick up on its irony

Explain that to the Coca Cola Corporation

I don't know how you can find a crazy person ranting about people stealing his bodily fluids not funny.

2001 A Space Odyssey has aged poorly.

umm that movie is like from the 1970s or something lol

Because we have Alex Jones, bodily fluids are juvenile in comparison to baby organ harvesting.

Strangelove's humor isn't funny. It's hearing a "joke" like no fighting in the war room, and then you let out a gasp of air from your mouth and calmly whisper "that was funny".

it really isn't though

I didn't appreciate it the first time I saw it, but rewatched a few weeks ago and it is pretty ahead of it's time. I'm not a laugher but I think I lol'd at the drunk phone call scene and the Coca Cola company.

t. THINGS ADHD ZOOMERS SAY BETWEEN HITS OF ADDERALL

Couldn’t have explained it better,desu

But its the boomers that are crying that no one finds their corny old movies funny
Just think, all your favorite classic films will have their reputation destroyed by zoomers, they have the power

Imagine being balls deep in a russian commie whore when the rogue capitalists accidentally the doomsday device you told them not to fuck with

It really isn't.

And then the zoomers with the next generation ect. ect. time marches on I'm going to go jack of now.

It's a black comedy. It uses irony and sarcasm.

It is not 22 Jump Street, sorry.

It

Peter Sellers was great.

IT WOULD NOT BE DIFFICULT MEIN FUHRER

ANIMALS COULD BE BRED AND SHLAUUUUGHTERED

TEN FEMALES TO EACH MALE

it is funny, it's like monty python, just a lot dry'er. like that hillbilly in the plane .

yep it's a film like vertigo or raging bull that if you watch it too young you don't get it.

yep but picking up on that takes some context, some apprec, then it all clicks

Slim Pickens? He was in a flick with Errol Flynn. He was actually from California and picked up his accent in the rodeo.

This and Fail-Safe were amazing movies in their own genres. Same type of story done as a drama and a comedy.

This. It's funny like Coen bros. movies or cartoons in the New Yorker are funny. It elicits a smirk. You acknowledge in your head "that was an ironic thing to have said/done"
But it's not actually funny in the same way that jokes and comedy are funny

NUKYOOLER COMBAT

TOE TO TOE WITH THE ROOSKYS

Because he's actually right about (((fluoridation)))

>you can’t let them in here, they’ll see the big board!

"You'll have to answer to the coca-cola company" is pretty funny

Are you saying only stupid things can be funny?

Except Coen brother's films are actually laugh-out-loud funny. You might just be a brainlet though.

>Peter Sellers
>believed that soon after entering Catholic school, Sellers "discovered he was a Jew—he was someone on the outside of the mysteries of faith". Later in his life, Sellers observed that while his father's faith was according to the Church of England, his mother was Jewish, "and Jews take the faith of their mother." According to Milligan, Sellers held a guilt complex about being Jewish and recalls that Sellers was once reduced to tears when he presented him with a candlestick from a synagogue for Christmas, believing the gesture to be an anti-Jewish slur

based

>isn't funny
>was funny

???

jesus christ you fucking retards clearly don't comprehend humour or comedy. are you all children or something?

JUST DENY (((THEM)) YOUR ESSENCE

RIPPER KNEW HOW NOT TO GET JUSTED

REMEMBER THE ALAMONY

>not watching strangelove and all the other movie inspirations of Fallout and then playing the games
and no, Fallout 3 and onwards are not Fallout, they're oblivion with guns.

strangelove isnt supposed to be funny

its supposed to be educating

Threads and The Day After were great. I also recommend Special Bulletin and Testament (1983)
