What was the show about those huge water creatures coming to the surface of the water? Then an infant gets loose and some teenage boy keeps it hidden from his family?
The season ends with a tidal wave that decimates the city. It was a good show but it jumped the shark in its first season and got cancelled. Seriously, an entire city gets annihilated in the first season...Tf man?

I've been trying to remember a series I saw on Channel4 years ago and have came up empty handed. I've asked people and they don't seem to recall it
>Family of four are relocated to some eerie meme suburb (iirc in a witness protection scheme or something) with hoods on their heads (hired gun-esque)
>They're told that now they're there they can never leave
>Can't remember anything about the parents story lines
>Seem to recall the daughter was a wannebe thot, but that could just be wishful thinking

It got heavily shit on, but I wouldn't mind watching it again to see if I can appreciate anything about it.
It's also not much of a surprise that no one remembers it with a description like that either I suppose.
