People hating on Harry Potter movies
I haven't seen a single one of those movies.

They're the dullest humans in the history of human beings
Hey Faggots,
My name is user, and I hate every single episode from what has to be one of the dullest franchises in the history of movie franchises. Seriously each episode following the boy wizard and his pals from Hogwarts Academy as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.
Perhaps the die was cast when Rowling vetoed the idea of Spielberg directing the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody?just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for her books. The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.
>a-at least the books were good though
"No!"
The writing is dreadful; the book was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time a character went for a walk, the author wrote instead that the character "stretched his legs."
I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that phrase was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Rowling's mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that she has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Harry Potter by the same Stephen King. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading Harry Potter at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read Stephen King." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "Harry Potter" you are, in fact, trained to read Stephen King.
You're a wizard harry
>Daniel Radcliffe
>His mother is Jewish and was born in South Africa and raised in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex.
They're just boring. And they got progressively darker and more boring with each release.
They’re good and the books are good. Completely ruined by the author and fanbase being radioactive cancer-AIDS
I enjoyed them growing up... I wouldn't go out of my way to watch them now
The franchise died with Richard Harris
AAAAAAAHHHH
It's a fun and comfy franchise and I've never cared to read the books. I can see why kids who grew up with it love it so much.
>huhuhu jews lol
1, 2, and 3 are good.
The rest are not very good.
ahm a wot?
reminder if he has a kid with a nonjewish woman then his child will not be a jew by jew laws
hey im not the only one that thinks this
I listened to most of the audiobooks a year or so ago because I needed something to listen to while 3D modeling shit.
Was surprisingly decent. At least books 4-5 from what I recall since that's when the movies started to cut like 50% of the content.
She's a shitty writer than managed to have a great idea, and for the most part the idea manages to carry it, despite her best efforts of trying to ruin it. Should really read book 7 once of these days.
I really liked the aesthetics of the first film, as a 10 yo. I still like the aesthetics of the Columbus flicks and Harris Dumbledore. Then I really got into the books but by the time the last two were published I was no longer very invested in either the books or movies.
Chamber of Secrets was pure kino
First 3 movies are good, rest are meh to shit
I literally walked out of the theater after this
I lost interest when it stopped being kids having adventures and started focusing on weird teen drama shit.
As a kid I liked adventure shit, but as a teenager I never cared about teen dramas.
DUDE same, to this day I change the channel or close the player after that
