I find it amazing that it's been 20 years of it not being funny.

Well I mean it isn't funny. No one thinks It's funny. It's just newfags and reddit spamming sneed to annoy others. It's not like comic gold or anything like that.

Here's the reality of the situation:

The Simpsons was funny. It's contentious when it stopped being so, but it definitely wasn't by the turn of the millenium, 19 years ago by now.

Yea Forums as a board needs to service all movies and all tv shows (not including animation, there's Yea Forums for that by the way).

"Comfy Simpsons threads" are just people mindlessly repeating "wasn't Marge vs the monorail good? Oooh, how about Homer at the bat?"

They're for sure not wrong, but they're a vapid waste of space and each time someone posts a new self congratulatory wankfest for holding one of the least contentious opinions available, a thread about an actually current movie or tv show dies.
