I had a dream where Alita was trying to fight a King Kong like monster in the city. The monster grabs her, strips her clothes off and attempts to molest her mechanical body as she struggles. Confused as to why she has no tits/ass/vjayjay; It sniffs her and then licks her a few times before attempting to eat her. I saw a close up of her screaming and trying with all of her strength to stop the massive molars from crushing her apart to no avail. Then the monster feels disgusted and spits out all of her remains on the street. Her saliva covered bits hit the street as she struggled to get out of its way as it barrels on the street destroying building and killing hundreds as it looks for more human women to molest and eat
Then from above Nova can be seen jerking off before he comes. His semen falls down to the destroyed city below and lands on Alita as her father attempts to drag her to safety and get her into a new body
In all seriousness yes it should be. Japs understood the importance and power of waifus long ago, but West has still a lot of catching up to do. Thankfully ourgirl just introduced the concept of true love between a man and a character on the screen to a whole lot of people. There's hope.
Tyler Miller
Ido made the body for his daughter, he wasn't gonna give her tig ole bitties
Robert Kelly
guys I just saw this in IMAX last night and I'm glad I did because I just realized that by Thursday it would've been too late and I would've missed out on it like I did with BR2049. gonna see if I can convince my coworkers to go to the last IMAX showings tomorrow before the plug gets pulled
Jayden Lee
Doll body > Berserk body Prove me wrong. You cant.
Yet there's articles from "critics" claiming that she's taken on such a problematic body. It's like what, her body isn't that out of proportion, she barely has B cups.
Grayson Robinson
To be fair Alita's doll body does have some pretty big teen tits. Remember that scene where Hugo was showing Alita the city from the church roof? They looked fucking ginormous there.
Carson Roberts
>wouldve missed out on it like i did with BR2049 same, exactly why im seeing it tonight
Oliver Allen
He doesn’t want to eat all the DVDs.
Aaron Lee
JIMMY AND ROB I WANT A SEQUEL WITH THIS BODY HEAVILY FEATURED
Is word of mouth going to help it in America? I've never heard of anyone NOT recommend it.
Gabriel Cruz
Hang in there Goslingposter, she'll be real in 30~ years. Use that time to accumulate money so you can buy a daughterfu when Chinks finally start selling them.
Jaxon Martin
Alita has temporarily ruined other movies and shows for me. Right now I have zero interest in watching anything else
Daniel Perry
It's too late for America. You guys are destined to endless capeshit now. Waifus will be international releases only.
>reading the manga for the first time >reach the Holy Night side story Jesus that’s incredibly fucked up. Imagine if they put that in the movie.

Hopefully, it warms the cockles of my heart.

American culture has gone down the tubes. I don't dislike the Marvel movies, but outside the theater, they're good movies and that's it. Americans no longer seem to understand the difference between quality and volume, in their movies, in their food, etc. I couldn't tell you why that happened. Could be all the fucking drugs everyone loves to do and boast about doing.
Angel Bailey
Same reason manga is so big in Asian countries. It's just a cultural thing that originated from there. Of course not saying that western comic books are even in the same league of quality or craftsmanship as mangas.
Jeremiah Butler
How is there even that much Gunnm memoribilia to collect? It's meant to be a relatively unknown manga
YOU NIGGERS LIED TO ME THE ENTIRE TIME I COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING AT HOW CRINGY THE DIALOGUE IS. THE ENTIRE THEATER LAUGHED AT "YOURE THE REALEST GIRL IVE EVER MET," PART GOD DAMNIT
>relatively unknown >has deluxe editions and omnibus collections >has OVAs >is translated into English, a language only very few series are ever translated into user Gunnm is not "relatively unknown".
Sebastian Hill
Damn straight, that ending was depressingly sadistic.
Jonathan James
Western comics are a lot better outside capeshit. Even the Japs can do capeshit better than Marvel
Here you go senpai. Because my country is full of literal and actual retards. And I will keep believing this until I travel to other countries to compare intelligence levels, because so far it seems like it's just western countries with this issue of walking npcs whose sole purpose is to be worker drones and to consume media.
Alita is the new Blade Runner sci-fi cult classic at least in America, it already has the big audience acceptance from people who actually paid to watch it while waiting for the next mediatically-mandated big movie to hit (Captain Marvel).
Colombian here. It's almost the same around here, but even worse. Wages are so low that people are on an arms race to impress others with dumb shit they don't even need, but get deep in debt to acquire.
I just got back from seeing it, and I'm confused. There wasn't a single Hun in the entire movie, and they got Rome all sorts of wrong. Cute waifu though.
It took Blade Runner so long to get a sequel, I'm worried for Alita now that you made that comparison. Nah, it has the Disney-Marvel brand keeping it alive no matter what.
Easton Clark
Not at all. Just because a part of the marvel universe alone is going to guarantee success.
Jordan Gomez
It's not just western countries, but people here really are fucking boring and stupid these days. If they aren't giving undue praise to a movie just because it was loud and flashy as fuck and they saw it in theaters, they're giving undue praise to some shitty hipster movie because it's vegan friendly and politically correct. Two types of idiocy and that's seemingly all there is lately.
Evan Wilson
I hope we don't have to wait bloody 35 years for a sequel to Alita.
Jesus this. Why did she inner dialogue "I won't stand in the presence of evil" before speaking it? Who wrote this garbage?
Nathaniel Wilson

Blade Runner wasn't understood in the 80s, so critics hated it. Alita is being railroaded by Disney pay off critics. Instant cult classic.
Caleb Turner
It's just honest and earnestly sincere dialogue without any hint of ironic self-awareness or quips we've been so used to having in our big blockbusters. It's just good cheese that carries the plot and characters. It's not groundbreaking dialogue by any means, but it's honestly fine for what it is.
Zachary Diaz
They're practically already living in a real life cyberpunk world. Maybe that's why they love it so much.
No, because the commercials will probably start spouting 'YOU NEED TO SEE CAPTAIN MARVEL BEFORE AVENGERS ENDGAME OR YOU WILL BE LOST. IN THEATERS EVERYWHERE FRIDAY". That alone would give it $700m.
Jace Flores
Not one single person in the theatre, out of the ~40 or so the day after it opened, made a single sound the entire time. They sat and watched the film. It was incredible.

It's funny how everyone back in the 90's thought it was going to be Japan, but as the years after went by the narrative gradually shifted to China as they overtook the mantle in industry. At this point it's 100% going to be them, what with cities like Shenzen existing and thriving.

The 2 worst parts are:
>Hugo gets a bounty on his head because Zapan killed a dude, like that couldn't be traced >Zapan's penalty gets called off because Alita slices part of his face off, for whatever reason
I think there's a third thing like that which was also stupid, but I can't remember. It's all minor stuff though.
Ayden Brown
Nope, nothing to discuss bro Can't even speculate whether she could lift Mjolnir since it's not part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (lol how sad amirite) so what is even the point of having a thread? Go see it though.

James Anderson
Wait. If she can eat, that must mean she shits too. I wonder if in the berserker armor she shits more powerfully. Like if she eats spicy tacos, do her shits/braps break the sound barrier? Imagine the devastation that would cause at your local torches tacos
The worst part? Its hard to say. Maybe it was the entire motorball scene arc cut out. Maybe Ido's relationships with the other hunter's not being fleshed out. Maybe the flanderization of the scrapyard into Nuevo Mexic, I mean Iron City or whatever Rodriguez renamed it. Maybe turning Makaku into a mindless henchman. Might be the needless exposition, or the creation of superfluous characters such as Ido's wife or daughter. I loved how all the extras were living in a dystopian future but wore Old Navy for some reason. The whole movie was a mess.
Levi Barnes
>So what do you guys think is the worst part of this movie That part between the beginning and the end
it's too bad because I really don't have any issues with Brie. but she threatens our girl and she must be stopped. Alita vs some supercharged alien human will having nothing on pure Martian tech-insanity. The Red World always produces the best tech
How bad the Engrish translates into English, but there's no choice but to carry it straight over or the weebs (i.e. the only market for this film) would revolt.
Chase Nguyen
Round 2 tonight bros. It's been a while since i've willingly gone to a 3D movie.
>I really don't have any issues with Brie Have you heard the bullshit she spouts? Have you seen her feet?
Wyatt Gonzalez
>flanderization >flan-derization did someone say...
Daniel Perez
>Hugo gets a bounty on his head because Zapan killed a dude, like that couldn't be traced You forget about his little mongol butt buddy that seems to tag along with him sometimes. He's the one that asked if he was going to kill Alita. He was probably in the shadows off screen and reported it for Zapan.
yeah, at the end of the movie he calls her to help his ass out of a fucked situation
Anthony Fisher
The biggest problem for me was the part where she gets elbowed in the face by a nig. I mean who the fuck does that? Sure I do understand that it's natural for their kind, but the reaction of >Come on man, she's playing for the first time. Was mild as fuck. They should have been at least visibly upset over their friend decking some random chick in the face who they just met. Now if the city had been a super gritty environment it might have been understandable that such behavior is normal, but everything was too bright and happy for it to work on any level. It's really a minor thing and there were other tone problems, but it did stand out for me the most as far as scenes go.
Jack Kelly
>He was probably in the shadows off screen and reported it for Zapan. We don't see that so we can't say that's what happened. It just remains unexplained in the movie.
Michael Johnson
>Have you heard the bullshit she spouts? don't really give a shit >Have you seen her feet? this however was shocking to see though and our girl Rosa has cute teeny feets.
I finally saw this today, it was really really good. Very enjoyable. I hope they make more.
Alexander Ortiz
Right at the beginning, we've just seen how dirty and awful AIRUN SHITTY is and then some cyborg is like "hey thanks for the wrench work here's a bag of fresh oranges I just picked up at my friendly neighborhood Whole Foods". The bag of oranges, a prop they probably literally bought at the grocery store across the street from the set, stood out like a thumb.
>creation of superfluous characters such as Ido's wife or daughter.
They're far from superfluous - they give Ido and Alita a basis to form an organic father daughter bond. And Chiren acts as Ido's foil as well.
The motor ball arc was not cut out, unless you mean its addition here. But in this context it works fine, and it introduces people to a unique aspect of the Gunnm world. Iron City was a bit toned down, but the overall design aesthetic was because he wanted to have a more realistic base for a space elevator, one being on the equator. This meant Latin America, giving it a uniqua favela flair. As for Ido's relationships with the other hunters, yes that wasn't explored as much as it could have been, but we did see enough to carry the story with his few lines in the bar.
This movie wasn't so much a mess as it was just packed to the brim. It needed to be a bit longer to pace things out better.
Oliver Young
hmmm. I actually really liked that. Alita such an endearing waifu...
Someone should have slapped his fucking teeth out then and there for his subhuman thuggish behavior.
Jace Cooper
Japan was on their way for quite some time, but then they suffered a catastrophic economic collapse and it took the wind out of them. Chinks don't give a shit about silly things like "morals" or "worker safety" so they're definitely going to be no.1 in biotech and other stuff that's hindered in the west by morals rules or regulations.

>they give Ido and Alita a basis to form an organic father daughter bond. And Chiren acts as Ido's foil as well.
Why couldn't Ido just develop those affecations organically without the fuff?
This is what pisses me off, Ido could have developed those feelings naturally and it would have fleshed him out emotionally rather than "I need a surrogate for my dead kid". It does a disservice to the actors and shorted the available time in an already stuffed movie.
Goddamnit you guys are shamefully stunted intellectually.
>Iron City was a bit toned down, but the overall design aesthetic was because he wanted to have a more realistic base for a space elevator, one being on the equator
Nobody is thinking that ever nor was it mentioned in the movie, that sounds like some headcannon talking point made up to argue away Rodriguez's known Mexican fetishism- he put an Aztec calendar on Zapan's back for fucks sake.
>putting an advanced super city in central america
pretty sure any nation that climbed to 1st world power status did it using some questionable means. china will be probably the less evil, if they do it

It literally cuts from her going through a (not in the manga) intial run where she is nearly assassinated by the minions of Vector trying to kill Alita (not in the manga) to her entering the Championship- No Ajakutty. No Esdoc. No Armblessed. No Zafal. No lower level team building.
i'm shocked to hear an alitabro talking like that, and i'll go as far as questioning your loyalty

>he has no inner voice >gets super offended when called out Yup, NPC.
Nathaniel Lee
The Scrapyard is way too clean and actually looks somewhat comfy to live in, doesn't look all that different from any modern major city. This means we don't understand really why people want to get the fuck out so much when it looks just basically fine.
Hugo has no desperation, isn't weak but actually super strong, lives in a giant ass decked out apartment with an awesome view. The actor fucking SUCKS ASS as well and there is no chemistry between him and Alita.
All the little Disney channel friends are wearing like, designer Lunacore shit.
Julian Russell
All empires have done shady and immoral shit to become world powers at one point, user. China is simply at that point right now. Don't worry, a few hundred years from now they'll be like western countries too constantly ignoring the atrocities of their past and pretending some other rising super power is really teh ebul bad guyz.
shut your whore mouth. they'll give us an alita sequel, and that more than compensates for everything else
Nathaniel Myers
Holy fuck, so you just literally blurt things out of your mouth when speaking? You don't think about what you're going to say before speaking? Goddamn, I hope you never become a public speaker, or have any important speaking role for that matter.
Adam Phillips
Maybe once they evolve a bit, but thankfully they don't have morals for now. Pair that with modern tech and they'll have plenty of time to do all kinds of crazy questionable shit while advancing tech before they realize that things like worker safety is a thing.
Evan Butler
>It's how their escalators run, with death chinamen.
I'm not ignoring the past, I live in a fucking graveyard of millions that my country was built upon. Evil yesterday doesn't excuse evil today.

The anime eyes actually gave me an erection.
Jayden Barnes
>Nobody is thinking that ever nor was it mentioned in the movie, that sounds like some headcannon talking point made up to argue away Rodriguez's known Mexican fetishism
You're the one talking out of your ass, a quick google search reveals:
>"And referencing Fountains of Paradise by Arthur C. Clarke, such a thing would need to be on the equator to work properly. And so immediately we thought, oh, this is a great crossover. We need layers of the old world with a new world built on top."
>Why couldn't Ido just develop those affecations organically without the fuff?
Because it's a different story with the spirit of the manga? An adaptation? Cameron/Rodriguez did not have the luxury Kishiro did of writing a 9 volume manga within which he was able to make things up and fill in plot points as necessary, for one. If you hadn't noticed the movie was already crammed to the brim trying to cover the first two volumes/the OVA as was anyways.
How does having a wife and child and a background like that do a "disservice" to the actors? How did it negatively impact it in anyway? How was it not organic? How is wanting a similar emotional connection that he had to his daughter not being fleshed out emotionally? Please explain.
Jaxon Lopez
These are beautiful, China is getting some good Alita content goddamn
Easton Walker
Ironically, I feel your IQ is hovering somewhere around 89, so if I were you I'd start worrying.
Easton Williams
She kinda looks like Ms. Kawakami from P5 in that pic.
Caleb Evans
I wish we got a bit more Moon combat. That was kino as fuck.
I've seen Alita 3 times at different theaters and have not seen a Cpt Marvel trailer yet.
Daniel Gonzalez
In time, my boy. In time.
Andrew Jenkins
Alita is the most likable character I've seen lately and it's all I wanted to say. Good night.
Dominic Lopez
The fact it ended.
Andrew Flores
What is the story on these. Are they a special promo release? fan art?
Matthew Adams
She was so beautiful even sparring alone in her room. No wonder Hugo always treated her kindly.
Kayden Scott
You should consider yourself lucky. It's pure unfiltered cringe.
Jaxon Rivera
>Alita was moved from Japan to Latin America
Jesus they didn't read the manga either, The Scrapyard was in the US midwest.
>the spirit >an adaptation
yikes, thats some latent admitting right there
>How does having a wife and child and a background like that do a "disservice" to the actors? How did it negatively impact it in anyway? How was it not organic? How is wanting a similar emotional connection that he had to his daughter not being fleshed out emotionally? Please explain.
Because it does a disservice to everyone. Can Ido not bear fatherly love without a reference point? Kenshiro wrote him as being able to do so- and it was better than what was written in this movie. We need to see Ido as a man who can bear emotions- it paints him as who he is. Instead we were shown someone trying to fill their void. Did his child plotline advance the story- or did it take up valuable space? Why did Chiren exist? She was entirely superfluous, her motivations are mirrored in Hugo so why write her in? Once again, a waste of desperately needed time.
I noticed some lasers were purple, that’s got to be a terminator nod
Connor Sanchez
Motorball will be expanded upon and a large focus of the sequel methinks. This film ends with Alita entering the big leagues and they hired Jai Cortney to play Jashugan that's a lot of money to dump on like a 30 second scene in this film. The plan my guess is to lock him in as billing star power for a sequel.
Tyler Turner
Ms. Marvel used to be so hot in that costume. Now they have poo in loo take up the mantle.
John Flores
Nope, as much as it sucks Captain Marvel will make a billion dollars
Luke Rogers
Not a chance. I think by Marvel standards, it won't do that amazing, but it will definitely make more than Alita just because it's an overhyped Marvel movie. Why did Jim wait so long to get this made? If Alita came out in 2008, everyone would've been all fucking over the film, but times have changed and Americans now just lap up Marvel shit.
Jack Brooks
It's for sure going to flop HARD. Might affect Endgame, might not; but it will affect any future Captain Marvel movie Disney has planned.
Thankfully everyone overseas is digging it, but fucking Americans, man. They suck.
Julian Howard
nice
Justin Clark
Her body looks so exposed, please cover her up with a poncho.
Liam Williams
Nice art and digits, but too sultry for the character for my taste
Aaron Rodriguez
Holy shit, you're fucking autistic.
Ethan Rivera
Lol fuck no. The RT shit will make the entire media fawn over it and turn it into a big cultural movement girls will all go see to spite neckbeards. I wouldn't be surprised if most of this shit RT review bomb was pushed by Marvel marketing firms to begin with, because it sure as fuck worked with shitty ass Black Panther as well.
This is one of my favorite movies of all time now. I'm not even meming. I love everything about it. I can't stop thinking about it. How did Robert and Jim do it?
nobody here is meming either. This movie was a an adrenaline shot. br2049 was the last movie I was this obsessed over. Different reasons but this is the much needed breath of fresh air in action movies. I used to not think much of Rob besides Dusk til Dawn but I have a newfound respect for his work. Cam is based and clearly kept in involved through the whole thing. It's truly a passion project and it shows and I think that bled into all of us now. Big shock, infectious positivity is actually kinda nice.
i like dua lipa but i do not like this idea at all. no thank you
Mason Mitchell
Yeah, this. So fucking sick of all the superheroes and Marvel movies. Been wanting a real action film for years. This film was straight out of the 80's and 90's.
Justin Perry
There's alot of things that would make great toys. >Barjack Playset complete with a Den that can be shifted from centaur to regular as well as the socket soldiers >Granite Inn playset which features all of the demented attractions and body mod experiments. Nova not included >Jovian legos
I really liked Alita but felt it had serious issues with not enough story arcs in the film and giving what was there way too much time to breathe. Its a shame because I love all the arcs in the manga, I just wish they'd have decided to put more then 1/5th of the manga plot in this movie to expand a bunch on what they didn't show and not have saved so much for sequels. I think thats the main thing killing Alita's sales. Its a minimal abstraction of what it could have been.
>fucking Americans, man. They suck. Streaming services have their claws dug in too deep, at least here in southern Pennsylvania (but I suspect it the same for the entirety of the US). People around here would rather watch whatever garbage is on netflix than go to theaters to see new movies. Its kind of painful to see how streaming is killing movie theaters, especially when not even 10 years ago theater attendance was booming.
Wyatt Smith
I used to be such an advocate for killing off theaters, but that was because it got infected with all the Marvel shit. Now here comes along Alita and I want theaters to be successful again. Shit like this movie is why theaters are made.
Nicholas Thomas
i want to go to the theatre but they only show it dubbed in spanish
Cooper Morales
>There's some staff work, kickboxing, a little bit of kung fu, Eagle Claw, Muay Thai,” she explains. “It's all really, really interesting, and I just didn't want to stop training. I got addicted to it. I love, love, love working out now.
Aaron Brooks
Theaters need to renovate if they want people back, depending on your market. Having stadium seating isn't enough, you need better projectors and sound, and the new hotness is recliner seats. Shit is a game changer, no one can ever be all over you anymore because recliner spread people out. It also reduces the total number of people in the auditorium and forces reserve seating. Making you comfortable and less crowded by strangers makes the theater even more attractive.
Ian Bell
Hot Toys are meant to be displayed not played with, pose it and leave it
Also, the face and hair on this one aren't a great likeness for a $250 figure but it's cool that the eyes are poseable
That sucks. I sat through DBS: Broly in English. Watching the Japanese trailer for Alita was also weird.
Ethan Brown
Streaming services are a part of the reason, but you have to blame the original marketing for this movie. The trailers were lambasted and mocked and memed from every corner of the internet for looking ridiculous and stupid. That immediately turned off many people (myself included). On top of this, you already have a glut of failed Western live action anime adaptations behind this that has removed any good will the American public has to the idea of a live action anime. Edge of Tomorrow was an anomaly, and it also was seen by most people as just another science fiction movie.
So months before the movie was even set to be released, people already hated it and swore off on it and if they talked about it at all, mocked it as that new pathetic anime movie with the girl with oversized eyes. It was *only* when it released when that whole idea was thrown out and people realized what they actually had on their hands. It was only after people here started praising it so much that I took a chance to see it, and I am happy to say I haven't regretted it and have been back 4 more times.
One last note, as for the actual movie, it's very sincere and straightforward (in a cheesy way) with its dialogue, and that is not something the general American public is used to anymore. We are all to jaded and cynical and steeped in irony to accept some of those lines (Stand in the presence of evil, give you my heart, most human girl, etc) at face value without some kind of self-aware quip to deflate that tension.
I agree. It's unfortunate that all it took was the internet's meta culture and other shitty films to smear the good image of the film. I mean, they could've doubled down on marketing in America, but I guess they figured it was better saved for overseas. To be honest, the fact it's doing as good as it is, even the states, is already a little unexpected. People expected it to fucking bomb, like Mortal Engines or Ghost In The Shell, but actually, it will make a little bit of money in the US, albeit not a lot, but at the end of it's run, it won't be considered a flop at all, and that's a big success really.
Alexander Powell
I can't wait for the home release because I really, really want to know why they didn't just use the actresses' face unedited and why they spent so much effort on something they knew was going to put people off the movie.
Bruh movies are expensive And then people will ask why I'm going to see the same movie 23 times
Christian Allen
how are 4D theatres are they worth it or its just a meme?
Mason Cox
People that are put off by the animation are retarded. Why they did it I would guess is so regardless of how many sequels come out over the years they can consistently animate Alita to be the same age/look instead of a progressively getting older actor passing their prime.
Ethan Rodriguez
GitS in the Shell wasn't even that bad, it's a shame.
Robert Morris
It definitely fared worse with critics and audiences. Alita actually has great word of mouth, but GITS didn't really have any.
James Turner
I'm assuming here, but the reasons I can see would be:
>Alita's whole body was already going to be CG, so might as well top off the face as well (the other cyborgs, with the exception of Zapan, still looked slightly weird with their actual face over a CG body) >To keep with her manga/anime origins >Because Cameron knew from Avatar the principle of big eyes giving characters an openness and emotional naivety and innocence about them >To differentiate the Martians (since the ones we see all have big eyes, skeletons on the URM ship included) And on a opinion level >because they look cute as hell, I seriously can't imagine Alita without them.
Also, Rosa is 33. Nothing against her or her age, but that's a tad bit too old for Alita being a teenager and all. But Rosa was also key to bringing Alita to life, as she is really good at expressing emotions with her face. And her voice also sells it too.
>future billionaire Um maybe because I'm not a future billionaire? I only have so much McBucks. I'm trying to save up money to go back to college, too.

>4D theater what? They warp spacetime or what?

No they didn't. It only made 29 million in China, total. Alita made more than double that in in 3 days.

I finally saw this movie today, because seeing Alita General threads for weeks now on this board finally got to me. I was one of those people who first saw the trailer months ago, thought it was mostly shit, and crossed this movie off as a lame cash grab or otherwise uninspired anime-to-live-action type of film that would be forgotten about a week after it came out.
Man, was I fucking wrong. I find myself really thinking this may be one of the best movies I will see this year. I want to go see it again, and I want to own it on blu-ray, something I RARELY do anymore.
You guys shouldn't have meme'd it so hard, I didn't know it was legitimately a well made film with heart.
Speaking of streaming services and the home release, I wanted to add that I cannot wait for it to drop finally on Netflix/Prime/Hulu/whatever. Not because I wanna see it again (I'm getting the BD of course), but because I feel this movie will be vindicated then. Your average viewer will likely check it out at some point, in the comfort of their own home at their own pace and realize how good this movie actually was.
I'm hoping that will generate legitimate hype for the sequel. And at that point, it falls squarely on Cameron and his team to not fuck up and go above and beyond this movie. Should he do that, this series place will be cemented for sure.

4D only makes sense if it's some kind of theme part attraction ride. Otherwise I imagine it's just a gimmicky nuisance. Recliners and IMAX are the future of theater experience.
Elijah Reyes
that sounds like a terrible idea. I go to the movies to have a comfy time.

Some parts of last order were pretty dope. Shame they can't adapt without turning the show into DB evolution.

Manga is darker. More violence, overall more misery but other than that it's a relatively straight adaptation tone-wise. I started reading it after seeing the movie and actually liked some things better in the movie but it's so far been an enjoyable read.

We could still do that. Though there really isn't much to discuss seeing how Kishiro just wants to write about loli adventures right now.
Personally, I'd like a story that takes Alita into Venus just to see the strangeness.
What if someone farts? Does the stench get blown to everyone else in the theater? Do they regularly clean the water sprays so you don't end up getting e coli blown into your eyes?
