about 5 years ago when I started listening to it.
>tfw he talked shit about my uncles movie

I loved when he had Steve Buscemi on but knew absolutely nothing about him or his career. Gilbert is a legend.

Skidoo?

Does he speak in his fake voice? I wish he would speak in his normal voice more often. He's basically a funny Larry the Cable Guy.

fuck off daniel panzer

I miss Gilbert and Howard fucking with Robin's news while I smoke in the bathroom.

Why can't comedy be good again?

I mean he doesn't yell the whole time. Just the intros.

He said on Anthony Cumia's show that the last time he was on with Howard, Marci Turk had come up with new rules, and told Gilbert that he's not allowed to say "faggot," "nigger," or "retard."

And Anthony said, "So you can't talk about Will Smith."

I wish. an even worse film than that.
no

>"so you can't talk about me?"

jesus fuck, imagine the smell

I loved him in What's Up Doc, but had no idea he was the original Motel the tailor.

Holy shit. Are you me when I was 17?? I also miss exactly this.

Does every fucking comedian have a podcast at this point Jesus.

Gilbert's is different from the others because he doesn't just interview jerk off comedians and talk about sex and weed. He interviews ancient actors and talks about their long careers and, "What was it like to work with Groucho Marx?"

Basically, but I appreciate the format because I grew up listening to talk radio. It’s nice having a lot of options for listening to shit while doing mundane work or chores.

That sounds like mega kino, gonna listen to it right now.

Pretty much, the moment Chappell and CK have one it'll be the end of it all.

Best podcast being made right now.

>all these references to obscure golden age of hollywood actors and films

I always feel like I'm listening to a podcast about baseball or the history of a country I've never heard of.

Any episode with Artie or Billy West were good ones

>it's a "Gilbert does his elderly Groucho Marx impression" episode.

Some of the character actors they love are obscure even to huge cinephiles.

Whenever "The Tingler" is brought up and Gilbert talks like Vincent Price, I laugh my ass off

>SCREAM! SCREAM FOR YOUR LIVES!

Is it really that bad?

Sal and Richard are free? I miss them most of all.

>have to sign up for a fucking subscription service
DROPPED

Sal is responsible for the single best moment in the show's history.

The main podcast is free. Hour and a half on Mondays. Stitcher Premium has the whole backlog of episodes, plus a bonus half hour every Thursday.

holy shit i never knew about gilbert's podcast, he doesn't have a youtube page? it's satellite radio like howard stern?

No, just a podcast. It is absolute kino if you're into comedy and/or Old Hollywood. I look forward to it every week.

gilberts the one comedian whos autism actually makes him funnier

Autism is a pretty good comedic trait.

Aren't all episodes free on the official website? Unless they changed it recently.

the god father of autistic comedy

I guess there are. Good to know. The older ones aren't on iTunes anymore I don't think.

I saw Emo open for Weird Al on his last tour. Met him after the show and he signed my CD. He was really great, and I hope he records another special sometime. He has at least a great half hour of new material.

this was better than i was expecting. likeable guy.

I can't believe Howard didn't fire him for that joke

He used to be on Red Eye a lot.
