what's the lesson here? don't get too close to children?
What's the lesson here? don't get too close to children?
that most people aren't capable of loyalty and trust
people are vultures
To show how much damage to a person's life and a community a simple accusation from some dumb kid who didn't know better can cause
Don't be different in a noticable way
The message is people are going to believe something if they want to, regardless of the facts laid out before them.
Imagine actually blaming the kid instead of the women at the kindergarten (and feminism).
There's enough blame to go around.
Anyone with more than half a brain blamed the kid in this movie, if anyone it should be the older brother who should be getting all the shit.
The lesson is the majority of people you meet on the street are really fucking dumb and potentially dangerously dumb so you got be safe and take care of yourself out there.
can't blame*
Dudes should never become teachers to adolescents.
incel movie
>Anyone with more than half a brain blamed the kid in this movie
what?
the old lady teacher was the real problem
>waits less then a day to start telling everybody
>insists upon forcing an answer on klara
>does this with the child investigator aswell
>contacts lucas's ex wife telling her before an investigation is even started that he touched a child
>tells literally every parent that somebody working at the kindergarten touched klara and potentially more, heavily implying it's lucas
what a fucking cunt, should have threw frozen meat at her instead
see and a hysterical woman is a hysterical woman
don't underestimate a woman's ability to go above and beyond to protect children
"None of them understand. He's not stuck there with them. They're stuck there with him."
(text slowly fades in while melancholic music with heavy bass hits) The Hunt II: Just Kiddin'
Nahhh ... it would be Mads is insanely good in this film ...
Look at the poster and tell me what it is you think he's thinking
Now remember when that part was in the movie
He's thinking about how much of a betrayal he's endured at the hand of his best friend, and it's from the Church scene.
What I do when I introduce people to this film is say Mads is such a good actor and can do so much with just his face, and I ask them what emotion they get from the poster.
They all think he's being predatory. The word Hunt probably does a lot for that. But everybody gives some sort of dangerous answer.
I think it's really good at showing what can happen if you don't see both sides for whatever reason. When you initially see the poster you have no context. You assume the worst. People do.
The "message" aka the main theme is that small stupid acts can have incredibly destructive consequences.
>piece of shit brother shows 5 year old porn
>traumatised girl really likes Mads and kisses him, because she saw it in the porno
>he rightfully tells her thats wrong
>she gets upset about it (and probably confused)
>draws a picture of the porn
>kindergarden teacher (rightfully) is worried, however immediately jumps to dire conclusions and doesnt even allow for some benefit of doubt
>child psychologist leads the child with questions (harmless leading questions which the child doesnt even understand)
.
.
.
.
Everyone is to blame in this film, even Mads. He should have told the teacher about the kiss the second it happened.
That's probably why he chose that image for the poster. I'll admit it does seem predatory, but you wouldn't think that if you watch the movie. Purely intentional I'd say.
who killed the dog
killing dogs solves crimes
The movie shows how the "innocent until proven guilty" system sadly works only in court, not in the society itself.
Today a simple "user on trial for sexual assault" newspaper headline is enough for literally everyone to be convinced that you actually did it and that you need to be hanged in public, the evidence or the outcome of the trial doesn't matter at all at that point, your whole social and work life is fucked for good no matter what you do anymore.
Essentially, false allegations are a scary thing.
allegedly in the filming of this scene it was his son but they cut showing him to make it more interesting
Reminder that he did it and is 100% guilty.
You know I loved the movie but the dog killing was too over the top
#BelieveAllWomen
He does that in everything though.
The director didn’t choose to make the shooter look ambiguous so the viewer has to "figure it out", he made him look ambiguous because the shooter could've been anybody.
What matters is that no matter how much evidence he has and what the trial outcome is, there will be always someone who believes that he actually did it.
he totally did it
He should've strung the child from the highest lamppost, women cant be trusted
yeah I mean OP asked what the point of the movie is and I think this is the point of the movie
This fucking movie, man.
>mfw the grocery store scene
If you're a man don't work in a fucking kindergarten.
He just wanted some food man
fug why they gotta be like this
That can happen to you literally anywhere. All it takes is a single woman to claim that you sexually assaulted her.
So better never interact with females for the rest of your life
The lesson is that most people are complete fucking idiots and you shouldn't immediately jump to conclusions just based off one side of the story.
>theres prob nothing for miles
>mads just wants some food
>everyone basically condemning him to death by not servicing him
this, adult men should stay away from unrelated children
I fucking doubt it, his son did nothing but stand by his side and did it willingly.
What the fuck are with these stupid YouTube tier theories?
Soccer moms ruin everything.
>What matters is that no matter how much evidence he has and what the trial outcome is, there will be always someone who believes that he actually did it.
Not necessarily. Even shown beyond a doubt that they were wrong about their ignorant witchhunt, there will still be a stain left on the village atmosphere and the relationships. The presence of Mads is a reminder of their own idiocy, so he has to go.
I wouldn't want to associate with these people henceforth anyways.
It was actually the "therapist" or whatever they brought in to interview her, she had no story and no responses to his questions so he just filled in the narrative he wanted and bounced, what a complete fuck.
That dude was certainly getting off on the idea.
Stay the fuck away from kids.
>Stay the fuck away from women.
ftfy
As a man.
Diddling kids as a woman is np.
Why is dog killing so common in movies? Especially in horror movies. If the family has a dog, you just know it's gonna die. I watched Calvary the same day as The Hunt and it had dog killing too. Fucking savages.
That’s stupid. You can tell the message is deliberate and using his son would ruin that message. Seems more like a dumb rumor.
Did he do it?
Punished Mads
rosties that didn't understand the movie
That the truth is often hard to discern, and in those situations, people will 1) often choose to believe what they want to believe and 2) allow their base instincts to take over (e.g., wanting a "bad guy" to hate and attack). We see this now in US politics on both sides. When people feel the pressure of an intense situation, they'll often just crack and make a choice simply to get out of the pressure
Danish rural society is pretty harsh if you’re not behaving normally.
because dogs are stupid, that's why
More than punished.
it was one of the least awful scenes in the movie, he did go back, headbutted the guy who punched him and got his groceries
What about Harvey Weinstein? he has never been convicted of everything, yet it is an established fact that he "pressured" women into having sex with him.
or the weirdo from the Jinx, he was at the time of the airing of the show, never convicted for any murder - but again, everyone knows he killed those people.
Gee I wonder what the dedicated pedophile board has to say about this
God forbid somebody actually talk about a movie on this board, amiright?
Festen is also a great film you mental midget
The Hunt is my all-time favorite movie. What does that make me?
A rational straight white male, the biggest problem of western civilization apparently.
Un-mad-able. I could only ever watch the entire thing the one time. Too fucking mad.
>"I'm on the hunt...for cunt."
DROPPED
The teacher throwed him under the bus just because of the girls accusation, eventhough she repeatedly contradicted herself.
Telling the teacher about the kiss before the girl wouldn't have make alot of difference, if anything (in the head of that feminist bitch) it would look like he was trying to clean up his mess.
Never trust women.
I FEEL THE HUNT, THE HUNT FOR CUNT!!
>adolescents
Does anyone know what to search to find that vid of based Mads smoking and drinking during an interview, while watching soccer?
The interviewers come up to his hotel room and he just doesn't give a shit. can't find it anywhere.
cheers lads
Banjos Likorstue - Kenned og Mads Mikkelsen
It's not on youtube.
Why?
Do you live there?
