I think this was one of the first times I realized that life was complex and had confusing shades of grey, because this was clearly terrifying for a kid, but was also a catchy, dancy song, and also suggestive of sex. I guess it was my first experience of corruption, twisting things I "knew to be good" into something bad but also captivating, which kinda made me realize "oh, this is what satan would actually be like." Goddamn older cartoons were so based, I can't believe zoomers' nostalgia is tied to fucking spongebob and bullshit like that
