You may not like it, but this is what peak Bond performance looks like.
Goldeneye
>best girl
>best music
>best cold cinematography
>best comfy USSR tech
>best villian sidekick
>gunmouth
Cannot be unseen
Martin Campbell is easily the most overrated director of the Bond franchise and his style is boring. Nonetheless Goldeneye is a pretty good Bond flick with an interesting and underrated soundtrack as well as two of the greatest Bond girls in the series. Also Samantha Bond is my favorite Moneypenny, fight me
Who was your main?
>not being oddjob so nobody could hit you
I saw it in 97 and it still haunts me
I always chose Boris, and as a kid I would shout "I'm invincible!" when I'd kill one of my friends
Oh so you were that fucking kid

>best video game
Did you know that in addition to the famous videogame, Goldeneye also had a pinball machine made? It has a satellite with a magnet in it. The electromagnet activates and the ball gets sucked onto the satellite, making the ball look like the satellite's antenna.

This is actually my favourite bond movie. It's kino
I was aways bond as it was my 64, same with joanna dark.
No oddjob, no jaws was the rules
Why no Jaws? it's handicap for the player that chose him if anything. Although he might have a larger health pool, I was never sure on that
Prime Famke will never ride you while clawing at your chest.
>s handicap for the player that chose him if anything.
Actually its a handicap for others too as he had too higher hitbox so getting headshots was harder as it threw your aim and muscle memory off.
Name a better sequence than the Tank Chase

Jaws-Complex-Proximity Mines 1v1 me bro
This was honestly either my first or second erection. I can remember it very clearly
that's true, yeah, you kind of get into a groove with aiming with that controller
I bet the actor of the admiral had an erection too.
I remember leap frogging past my friends in skill when I was the first one to realize that moving on an angle forward and strafing made you move faster. I was like a god for a while.

"deconstructed" bond can suck my ass
Goldeneye is the perfect Bond movie. Has a great Director. Solid script that balances darkness with the puns. Beautiful cinematography. Fuck you, I love the score. It combines the right amount of goofy cheese from the Moore era with a bit of hard bastard Connery in there. It also has quality visual effects and feels like the first Bond movie to come up to Hollywood level's i.e Die Hard, Lethal Weapon etc...
Casino Royale would top it, they have the same Director (Martin Campbell), but Craig is a scruffy jug eared cretin. If Michael Fassbender has been cast it would be GOAT!!!FACT!!!
shit dawg
Craig Bond sucks a fat dick
THANK FUCK that hack Maurice Binder croaked before Goldeneye was made. I don't give a shit if he did the titles for the original movies. By the 80's those looked soo cheap and shit while his "style" was boring!!FACT!!! youtu.be
It really is the best movie. But I just realized how his face stands out from the poster; it's so obviously photoshopped and not in the same space as the rest of the picture. Terrible.
why is a-ha doing impersonating duran duran?
Def a top 5 Bond film. Also some love for the late Gottfried John who played Ourumov in all his smug glory.
My personal fav Bond titles are Tomorrow Never Dies. It's not as good as Goldeneye, it was mired with production problems, but it's still entertaining and comfy!!!FACT!!! youtu.be
Rip Oromov
I know Gottfried John because he played Caesar in Asterix and Obelix Take On Caesar, which was a pretty big childhood classic for me. Top guy. RIP
whats his real voice like?
no idea what hes saying but sounds cool
>just watched this opening again
>got to the two-faced girl
>suddenly realized that was supposed to be a representation of Janus, the two-faced god
>two-faced is another way of saying someone is traitorous
>movie straight up gave you everything you needed to figure out Trevelyan was Janus before the reveal
fuck, I can't believe I never noticed this before now
good job user
... bros
It has fantastic music but it also has some of the worst. For example, the music played during the early car race is pretty horrendous.
fun fact. they had to scratch-build a few of those streets because St Petersburg wasnt thrilled with the tank idea. so some scenes are really on-site, the others are on an outdoor set. good luck figuring out which
The helicopter pilot, he had the coolest glasses, although I swear I thought they were round.
>serious bond
i bet you also like nolan
