So is this shit going to be any good?

Maybe? Maybe not? Maybe go fuck yourself?
I thought Joe Pesci was dead.
All signs point to No.
I have a bad feeling that it'll suffer heavily from being made 10-15 years too late. old deniro and pacino are basically caricatures of themselves and are the same in every tole, and I'm honestly scared to see how geriatric pesci is gonna look
Somebody post the pic of DeNiro in moon boots.
Scorsese doesn't make bad movies.
>inb4 plebs naming good movies they think are bad
>a netflix film
It's either utter shit or fantastic.
Didn't realize Scorsese was directing it. It'll be certified kino then.
Literally every single films he's made since the 80s has been shit.
This is my biggest concern too, I love Scorsese but I feel like he put this in development hell for too long.
It's just sad knowing this will be the last real mob movie we'll ever get.
Wrong
He hasn't been in anything since the good sheppard in 2006, and it was clear he was done back then. That was just a cameo, can't imagine how he could do a full movie in 2019.
>bunch of old washed up actors in a filim made by an old washed up director
interesting
>The Boomerman
>straight-to-Netflix
You tell me.
why does he have 2 guns
terrible poster, goddamn
Nothing Netflix has been involved in is good though.
It will be shit.
why the fuck do Irish people keep pretending they're relevant? Tiny ass country of 5 million keeps shilling themselves everywhere
we get it you're irish, fuck off nobody cares about ireland!
it's literally americans larping. the guy the movie is based off of isn't even fully irish. he's like half swede
It's weird how high the budget of this film got inflated to the point where the previous studio dropped it halfway through production.
Honestly it was a pretty smart move for Netflix to buy the rights to a Scorsese picture.
Imagine having taste this terrible
he's off by about a decade. really he's been shit since only after the 90s
I would say since after The Departed personally, that movie feels like his swan song.
>The Departed
Shit Hollywood remake of a far superior film. Many such cases!
I trust Scorsese
It’s a bunch of amerimutts
no its not, its a terrible move. netlfix isnt going to financially profit from the film, 200mil is insane for a crime drama. they picked the movie up because they know that its going to be extremely popular and win awards. but even with high viewership netflix wont be making much bank anyway. theyre already losing money as is and the movie will be in theaters too
When was the last time Joe Pecci was in anything?
stop eating dogs
Beasts of No Nation
As much as two thirds of that cast has fallen to a bottom of the barrel that's so low it might as well be at the center of the earth, I have faith that Scorsese can lift them out.
If they made it 30 years ago with that cast and director it would be incredible. It's going to be shit now.
>the good sheppard
I was really looking forward to this on release. What a piece of shit movie.
You have bad taste too, but not as bad as the other guy. The 90s were Scorsese's creative peak.
I just realized it could have been like Scorsese's take on Once Upon A Time In America if he made it years ago, fuck.
>doesnt know any of them so he just says all of them
He is become brainlet
based, pleb btfo
Has anyone else seen this series?
I got it as a gift from my dad on VHS and it's really comfy.
I hope so, De Niro and Pacino's careers are fucking putrid from the 2000's onward
FUCK DENIRO
That POS libtard fuck needs to die
He's seems to have aged with the most grace compared to De Niro and Pacino.
At least avoided most of the Hollywood turbulence.
youtube.com
that's the first thing I thought.
after a quick research, it turns out that it's fake
based and boomerpilled
>a Netflix film
Huh. The plot thickens. I wondered how Marty ended up on Netflix.
>200 million for a crime drama with washed up actors
Scorcese has never made a good film
Who the fuck dual wield a snub nose ?
>Jewflix
>ever making anything good
Maybe he took one of them off of the guy on the ground there
that's not true. he was the male lead in Love Ranch in 2010.
should've cast Liam Neeson
Mindhunter
>80 year olds are playing men in their 40's and 50s.
I don't care how much de-aging software they use, it's gonna blow. It's 20 years too late. Scorsese has only himself to blame for wasting years on years making mediocre movies instead one last great mob movie before these wops became walking corpses.
>Scorsese
It'll be like all his other films so it'll be fine. A Netflix budget is fucking perfect for him anyways.
Shutter Island, Good Fellas, Casino, Raging Bull, Taxi Driver. (to name a few)
gonna be kino. can't believe youse plebs have no faith in marty after the MOTD that is silence
Jim Norton is gonna be in it so no
Taxi Driver and Raging Bull are his only great films.Goodfellas is good. Casino is the bad version of Goodfellas. Everything he's done with Leo has been bad.
Most underrated comment.
The King of Comedy is good.
Buster Scruggs
Silence was fucking terrible. One of the dullest films ever made.
>be Scorsese
>get the biggest budget of his career
>spend $200M in CGI deNiro's face
>instead of hiring some young actors
depressing
Silence is his best movie only boomers would disagree
This one was good but it was essentially a less compelling version of Taxi Driver with some rough pacing at places. It also dated really badly to the early 80s because of how the film deals with popular culture.
The CGI de aging will ruin it. Should've just used some actors playing young versions of them, we can buy it
they're using de-aging cgi for like half the movie
Damn, they're already making a movie about Liam Neeson?
Yes. The original title was "The Nigger Hunter"
it was Black Bastard Basher actually
This. Not even Netflix can't stop my faith in this man.
Why he didn't cast young actors?
They are like 80 years old
