Another Oscars, another best actor loss for the king of dubs.
Say something nice to comfort him

It could be worse bale, you could look like brie larson or be black.
At least he's won best supporting?
He's got a trophy....
Vice was a shit movie.
You may have lost too (I've already forgotten), but here, check these. Just for you, Pat.
Yeah all I care about is whether Amy won
it was the best movie it could've been given the subject matter, just wish bale had portrayed cheney a little softer/less stoic, would've brung more depth to the character
I’m sorry, chris. we still love you
it's alright, he still got dubs
While the Oscars are pandering and handing out participation trophies, you don't want a win, no matter how good your work as it will be tarnished when it wins alongside all this bullshit. Wait it out, wait for them to mean anything again, because right now, they mean fucking nothing.
He won his for The Fighter and it was rightfully deserved. Top 3 performance of the decade.
Why did you guys like Vice? it was fuckin terrible
Next time, demand the fat suit and more money.
Mommy
He's an absolute madman.
Can't believe he got robbed again. Fuck Mr. Robot.
>best supporting actor
no one gives a shit about those
he needs to worship our lord Satan more, than he will get his Oscar
That award held onto it's integrity longer than (((Best Actor))) did.
He's literally Jesus, this is his problem and why he isn't winning.
>just wish bale had portrayed cheney a little softer/less stoic
But that's not Dick Cheney. The guy literally still defends torturing people. His only soft side is towards his kids, and supporting his lesbian daughter and you got that in the movie.
sorry bud, softness pretty much defines the modern american man, specially true of the quiet and gentle flyover states, specially true of politicians, heck even rough speaking redneck american truckers have this softness to them
ordering drone strikes and torture sessions from the comfort of the white house doesn't make cheney any less of a soft pansy, the fact that he probably did it all thinking it was the right thing to do to protect his family and countrymen without giving much of a second thought speaks volumes to the softness of his character and worldview, which could've been better explored in acting
>probably
So it's just pure conjecture on your part.
well I'm not in his head or is anybody else, but that line of thinking fits both american exceptionalist and christian conservative worldviews, which is why the movie adopts it in the final monologue
also I'd be willing to bet cheney never got to actually experience violence first-hand in his life, not even a robbery, on top of being a known draft dodger of course
>straight white man portraying one of the most vile white guys in politics
>vs an arab boy playing a fabulous fag
really makes you wonder
>also I'd be willing to bet cheney never got to actually experience violence first-hand in his life
He literally shot someone in the face while being VP.
