give me more films centered around radio hosts (preferably spooky stuff like pic related)
Pontypool (2008)
Why did this have to be a one hit wonder, Yea Forums? It was so good.
in all fairness only the first half was really good
the fog. texas chainsaw massacre 2 also features a DJ as the main character but it's more goofy than spooky.
this was comfy, i loved the idea of a remote town going into shutdown mode for a few days while a fog came in
There's this 5 episode thing that got added on netflix called The Kirlian Frequency, each episode is only about 10 mins, about a radio host and spooky.

I had this idea for a movie where some isolated town in the far north is taken over by zombies, the DJ is the town's last survivor and barricades himself in and tries to use the radio to warn people. At the end of the film as the zombies are about to break in, he receives a call commending him on his work, thousands have heard him recount the infection of the town but all believe it to be some kind of War of the Worlds radio show, no one has heeded his warnings. The caller hangs up and it zooms outside showing zombies slowly approaching his own town.

mite b cool
Joe Dirt
Dead Air
It's essentially a foreign animated version of Nightvale
Play Misty For Me
Never heard of it, might check it out.
Completely forgot about that movie, romance montage was weird but the ending is kino supremo
Could you do a movie like Pontypool where the outbreak never becomes a direct issue to the radio host?
The ending reminds me too much of cynical crap like TLJ and Cabin in the Woods.
Are you saying you thought it needed a sequel? What the fuck does "one hit wonder" mean in this context?

based franchise zoomer
Steve Coogan has a comic persona of a radio host called Alan Partridge. Had a few TV shows and a movie.
I mean the writer/director haven't done anything else of interest you goober.
