yes, I remember. I was away from Yea Forums for a few months and when I came back, everyone was using the word kino. I literally had to find a post on /r/outoftheloop to explain it to me. I'll never let that happen to me again.

As far as I know, it’s some foreign word that has now meaning on its own. It would be like saying “is this cine?” As in, “is this cinema?”. I got used to it on here, but I feel a deep loathing when I see it used on other boards like /ck/ (“kino pairing!”). The joke is on them, because eventually they’ll talk like this irl. The first time they say “based” or “dude so kino” in-person, theyll realize how much they’ve lost in this life to this place.

And he feels marginalized by society because of how much of a shut in he is, so he'll have the most shallow /pol/ opinions and tastes.
