OP here, for the record I'm not delusional enough to limit myself to bands that outright express right wings views, It's just that having a band who's entirely made up of gay members as your absolute favorite is a bit too far.
I'm quite familiar with The Smiths but they are way too rock, I prefer a lot more electronic synth, maybe even verging on dance. I like Depeche Mode a lot and though I've been trying I cant force myself too like their music more than I do Pet Shop Boys', there must be something else out there that is just right for me.
