The second one is boring too, the only thing I liked about it was the Joi subplot. This future where people are so egotistical and there's so much affective misery because of it that people buy programmable AIs to get some affection, it hits so close to home.

I honestly thought I was the only person that thought Blade Runner was so fucking boring.

I liked it until the apartment at the end, which is a full on 30 minutes long. Then it just turns into a generic action flick.

No, the script is all over the place, the characters suck, the acting sucks, the pacing sucks. Everything besides the art direction and the soundtrack is way below average in this movie. And of course, watching it in 2019 the art direction is nowhere near as impressive as it was back in 82, and so there's only the soundtrack left with a little value, and even that you can listen to it on Youtube.

So yeah.

Another shitty critically acclaimed would be 2001 A Space Odyssey.

Both films are extremely good and if you think either one of them is bad you're a supreme mental midget. Fact.

It's honestly the average length for blockbusters these days. They have to be that long to justify paying so much for a ticket. And really the only problem with it being that long is if you have to piss partway through. They really need to start doing intermissions.
