What does Yea Forums think about this? I recently discovered it because I like post-apo shows, I thought that this is another disney-ish piece of shit but surprisingly the longer I watch it becomes better. Any fans of this production in here? (Raven is my favourite)

can't agree with everything. Sure, this is bad show but it gets interesting from political point of view and you can get pretty interesting insight on hard decisions, transfers of power and basic social issues packed around critical situation which obviously is nuclear assault and its aftermath

They cover the entirety of the first book (which was all that was published by then) in the first episode. And then there's a couple of shaky episodes while they're trying to steer the story to where they want to be, and from the on it turns into a great show because the writers are pretty much free to do what they want.

later it gets more realistic in spectrum of acting and character appearance. Even predictable cliffhangers don't bother that much because you realise that this is more like low-budget post-apo game of thrones than dawsons creek-esqe shitshow.

also character evolution gets pretty interesting during the show - Octavia is becoming powerful and gains power. Won't spoil you anymore but if you give up some high-brow movie factors that you expect from top-tier productions and just focus on enjoying the show - you won't be disappointed.
