Is Spiderverse Peter McGuire Peter?

The intro summarizing his life story contains several animated recreations of scenes from the original trilogy but none from either remake. Weren't they intending to cast him at one point?

I dunno why I'm asking, but why does a black kid spiderman has electricity and invisibility powers in addition to classic spiderman shticks like all other spider men?

Also, movie had heart and some nice bits here and there, but holly shit, they went overboard with zoomer music and visual messy overload.

no, blonde Peter wasn't Raimi's Spider-Man. That's why all the call backs to Raimi's films had twists like MJ being upside down for the kiss.

I literally gave you at least three reasons.

Because Brian Bendis wanted his character to have something more than spiderman because otherwise no one would give a shit about him.
His regular powers are meant to be on a lower level, e.g. less strength/speed and Peter Parker is meant to be a lot smarter but this depends on the writer.

He was given those extra powers to make him different than the original spider-man. Not to mention Miles spider sense is supposed to weaker than Parkers
