I'd guess it'll probably do fine. From what I'm picking up from irl m8s that like capeshit and consume a lot of "conservative" outrage media and get triggered about girls in their kids movies, they're still planning on seeing it.
It being a tie-in to Avengers seems to be a bigger factor than not wanting to support the librul hollywood jews.
Plus from what I'm seeing on reddit, seems like people on the left are starting to hype themselves up about it just because they know how triggered it makes internet-addicted virgins that consume a lot of active measures propaganda that uses "controversies" in popular media to agitate them to support things against their own interests.

plus comic nerds have been reeeing about Captain Marvel becoming a gril since the 80s. WW was always WW. CM used to be a schredded dude with dope hair. This feeds into the Ghostbusters "they're replacing male characters with female characters" outrage narrative.

IMO look to Black Panther's earnings track and expect about the same.
The movie will be out on March 8th with Endgame out on April 26th. We'll likely see an Endgame trailer featuring Carol and the movie itself will basically give the movie a second life - take a look at Panther and Infinity War effectively increased the legs of the movie by 100%.
This can't be stressed enough, the movie is going to benefit from all the previous MCU successes even if this movie itself is mediocre.
I think CM will do about 400mil domestic and 500mil international, coming out just a bit ahead of Wondy's totals.
