not so much the exit from the travel tube, but the women suspended over the flames, slowly swaying back and forth.
Why does this look like some porno?
Barbarella?
SCARY AS FUCK
Legit horrifying
Early 90’s and watching Misery on VHS. Seeing Kathy Bates fuck up James Cann’s legs. Most violence in horror movies I was kind of desensitized to but this shit seemed realistic as fuck. I also thought my mom would one day snap and do this to me
It was so out of place. Superman 3 was stupid and campy as fuck then suddenly this happens. Not even seeing Clarke kent choke evil superman to death is as fucked as this scene.
>tfw no woman will ever love you this much
Lol, I actualy watched it once when I was recovering with a broken ankle. Fucking horrible.
I just watched that part again, it's so fucked up. The way she's suddenly silenced. FUCK.
She genuinely looked terrified to my young eyes.
Fuck that takes me back, haven't seen that movie in at least 15 years, it would make me cry like a little bitch, then the next day I'd watch it again.
Bambi had the same effect.
Am I the only one?
FUCK this gave me nightmares for years! I was like 6 when I saw it. Thought I was the only one
Literally half of this movie
Was Misery the redpillest book of all time
moses?
Haven't seen that in forever, I remember it being good.
>be 5
>go play at friends house because he has an amstrad
>his big brother is watching maniac cop or psycho cop or something in another room
>stand in doorway for about 15 minutes watching a legit terrifying slasher film
>nope the fuck outta there
>play ghostbusters on mates amstrad
Maniac cop was good. At least you know you're going to see horror, unlike these other films.
Bimp
of course also large marge but i really didnt like these scenes
This furry faggot scared the living bjesus out of kid-me.
jesus christ
Rabbit burrow being crushed at the beginning of Watership Down
Not a movie, but this fucking thing.
A lot of different scenes from The secret of NIMH, but the one with the owl is the one I remember the most
Literally had to turn the movie off at this point. Didn't end up finishing it until years later. To this day it still makes me uncomfortable.
...have you never seen Barbarella
What is this from?
kinda assumed that was just an everday occurrence in France.
>Barbarella
I'm not a boomer but the name sounds familiar.
Fucking this.
Honorary mention is the scene in Terminator 2 when he cuts open his arm to show the black guy he's a machine.
The ending of Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)
Is this the oldfag secret club thread?
Feels like it. First time I've seen barbarella posted.
some surreal 70's german shit about a fantasy world full of psychokiller jester midgets or something
i don't even
the rhino cloud thing from james and the giant peach
i dont know why but it scared me to my core. like impending death.
>Newfag detected
a scene from The Stuff where some dude's face melts. not at all traumatizing but rather disconcerting. pictures on the television did nothing to me as a child. not much has changed in that regard.
The Pike from the Sword in the Stone, especially the jumpscare bit.
Terrified to the core. I remember having tons of nightmares due to her.
Holy fuck i opened the thread just to post this. Thankfully I scrolled before posting
I want to fuck the spider
didn't see Tron as a kid, but I can understand being afraid of a gigantic-distorted red monster face with glowing eyes and a deep voice.
For me, it was the whole Cave of the beast segment in Asterix and the twelve tasks. From the howling wind till the scary monster faces coming onto the viewer. The fact that they never showed the beast itself was disappointing to me then, but now I find it even more creepy. The undead legionares later weren't a problem anymore after that.
holy shit bros, this is it
Probably not the best movie for a 5-year-old to see.
I'M NOT AFRAID OF YOU
BEEP BEEP, user
Completely forgot about this, but it scared me too. Didn't his parents die in a rhino-cloud-storm or something?
Saw this when I was 8. It did weird things to me, I've had a masochistic streak ever since
Really? That movie got to you? Which part specifically, as I'm assuming it couldn't have been the baby at the airplane window
Lol, I've been here since 1999
that scene and the pig scene in Willow really scared the shit out of me
I forgot about this one.
Yep, actually petrified me as a child. Still watched it all the time though
Either clever bait or you have actually been here, on earth, since 1999
This fucked me up for years as a kid
The baby scenes from Trainspotting. Also this
This.
>trainspotting
Oof, that's a brutal movie if you're familiar with the lifestyle. Shame the sequel was so bad
I'm surprised none mention Watership Down. All the scenes in it are violent especially if you are just a child expecting a nice animated movie about bunnies.
DOWN!
