I found and read the prog rock thing this guy wrote, and I actually broke down laughing at the lack of knowledge this guy had on prog's history, influences, messaging and overall cultural role. For some reason, people always seem to forget the influence of jazz and free improvisation on a lot of progressive rock.
He also doesn't seem to understand what his ethos is. I can get behind anti-fascism, but the reviewer clearly didn't do his homework on prog.

i wish i could find the review on what was likely a classical recording (maybe some beethoven symphonies) of some guy going on about the descent of western culture and some vague endorsement of eugenics. it was from a metalhead (anus/DLA type but dunno if anyone here even catches that reference anymore) but i'm not sure if rym would even let something like that stay up
