Skull Island was really fucking good. Surprised by how much I liked it, just a straight up Predator take at Kong. Only downside was the big bad forgettable monster.

I love the little design choices they made to distinguish the V-Rex from the Jurassic Park T-Rex, like the jagged teeth with some of them seemingly sprouting from the outside of the mouth.
