Is Sam Malone the best chad character in tv history?

He was largely polite when shot down and took no for an answer. Except for when it came to Rebecca. But she was his Moby Dick. You absolutely could get away with his character today. It would just have to be as well implemented as Sam's was. And most TV writing has lost that when it comes to sitcoms because now everything needs to be serialized and watched from episode one.

That might be because of insecurity and nothing else though, not rudeness. I think a lot of people would kill for that type of social interaction where you can completely let your guard down.

There’s a bar like this in my neighborhood I found where these all people from a high school meet up the day before thanksgiving for a reunion.
