What 2019 movies have you seen, or are looking forward to? Capeshit not welcome.
I just got back from seeing Cold Pursuit, a very entertaining dark comedy (which I totally was not expecting it to be). There were some trailers for a few interesting movies before it too, Captive State (the alien invasion/occupation movie with John Candy) looked very interesting, and there's a new Pet Sematary which looked suitably scary. Surprisingly, the one which I'm most looking forward to is Us, from the guy that made Get Out, which looked like a straight horror film with a black family on vacation being terrorised by evil clones of themselves - assuming it doesn't turn out to be a metaphor for racism or something I'll be going to see that one for sure.
Saw that kino last week. Beat part was the reservation joke and when Viking shot his apprentice to bring to the Indian cartel
Charles Bell
It had so many great little moments, one of my favourites was when White Bull said "get the Indian to do it" and it pans over to reveal there's a Pajeet Indian who works for the Red Indians.
Thomas Price
I've watched Escape Room (garbage, wasn't on me seeing it), Lords of Chaos (6.50/10, decent) and Alita: Battle Angel (8.5/10, extremely comfy).
Chase Nguyen
Stand aside plebs. Movie of the year coming through.
Superhero movies are better than 99% of the movies that come out, funny, well made story, y’all are just mad because ass movies like no country for snore men and wtfincel Runner 2049 are ass

the main villain was incredibly charismatic and one of the highlights of the movie, the movie as a whole was just average desu

It's one of those arty farty movies where they've been showing it at film festivals for nearly a year but it hasn't got wide releases yet, it'll be out in proper cinemas in the US and UK in March/April, but it came out in France last August and they've already got it on Blu Ray.
