by any chance did you ever play a Dean explorer style guit? i used to know a big metal guy with the same amp and your room seems like the kind of place he would stay

i hate to be one of "those guys", but it feels amazing. it looks weird to the eyes, but feels natural on your hands. I thought there would be a big learning curve on a fan-fret, but it feels amazing.

Despite being a metalhead and playing guitar for over 20 years I've never actually laid hands on a Dean before. I have an Explorer style guitar, but it's a Hamer.

I already got it. Ordered through Thomann. Initially, it said "4-5 weeks" expected delivery.

Then it kept being delayed, delayed, delayed. I wrote their customer service like 8 times. When they told me it reached their warehouse and they were shipping it, I thought they were kidding.

But damn, she's so gorgeous. Like, the moment I held her, I knew it was worth the wait.
