It's a shame the plot was ass because the gay dude was pretty well done (until the retarded plot with his buttbuddy comes into play), Ray was based, Ani was hot and Frank was a meme mine

They were investigating Caspere's (a public official) death. He was found at rest-stop in the highway, so the jurisdiction was muddy and that's why Ray, John Carter and Rachel McAdams all had to investigate on behalf of their precinct. Frank tied into it because Caspere was supposed to close a multi-million dollar deal on his behalf but died while in possession of Frank's money.. The initial investigation lead into a missing person's case of a hispanic girl, a shootout with some cartel members, sex parties involving businessmen and public officials, and most importantly, a jewelry store heist from the 90s that implicated a police chief, some detectives, a mayor and Caspere himself.

English is a second language for me and it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to whatch this without subs.
I can hardly make out a word through all the mumbling in this show.

lol i just watched season 1, instantly downloaded season 2 but some BluRay torrent and there are no subtitles ANYWHERE for it, so I just gave up 10 mins into the first episode.

By the time it got to the birdman shooting Ray it was pretty obvious it was going to be a gigantic mess, the bullshit with Caspere, the train line and the fake made up city was jumping all over the place.
I don't even understand why pizza chose this shit instead of just going for some murders related to the hollywood elite which would've actually been closer to the theme of season 1, he didn't even need to go full anti pedo crusade.
