Great experience.
MASH is funny but it was pretty aimless. It's pretty much just a series of skits.
Stalag 17 was better.
Found the zoomer retard.
GOT A WIFE AND KID IN BALTIMORE JACK
I WENT OUT FOR A RIDE AND I NEVER WENT BACK
Anna and the Apocalypse
turned it off 15 minutes in /10
it really be overrated though.
Serenity (2019). Pretty good.
6,5/10

*5/10
have you seen her fappening pics?
similar vibe, but the premise was also shit
4/10
This movie screams year 2000 with the MC and all the surf / skating.
Not nearly as visually pleasing / interesting as it think it is, even though they focused so much of the movie on it.
They managed to make the Treasure Island story boring and bland.
5/10
So is he human again or what? If so how did he recover from his wounds?
A girl made me watch this and got mad when I didn't like it
100% serious.
Fuck you i love that movie.
9/10
2/10
I was completely memed into watching it, and the best I can say about it is that at least they knew how to use a camera
it was probably one of the most boring movies I've ever seen
The Power of Love™
Agreed, it was a total waste of 2 hours.
It has fallen into the memory hole too.
That was fast.
it's called atmosphere and that is what is actually scary about horror movies. it doesn't have cgi ghosts who were tortured and spook you, it's not zombies, and it isn't some psycho with a weapon who wants to kill sexy teenagers.
bird box is 11/10 horror.
8/10, fucked me up. Didn't cry but I could feel tears forming, doesn't happen often with movies.
terrible bait.
The Favourite
Pretty good. Dark but funny. Will definitely watch it again at some point.
7.5/10
>it is now bait to love a movie
stupid contrarian nihilistic Yea Forums 2cool4school attitude
>stupid contrarian nihilistic
>giving a movie 11/10
You aren't very self aware.
>it was all just a video game
no way I'm watching this shit
surprisingly good. its an enjoyable western suspense movie with cannibal injuns. its does drag along in the middle but it gets good once they make contact.
id say a 6.5/10
atmosphere is completely lost when you use a framing device that guarantees everyone but Sandra Bullock and her children will die before you come full circle
Trust me, it's has a better ending then the book.
how does the book end ?
9/10
Hilarious.
apparently its gory and I can't handle stuff like saw or hostel ii
ah-bloo-bloo
5/10, average
I'm a fan of one location films so this did keep my attention, but the story and drama is pretty standard fare, couldn't really get emotionally invested it even though it was tying to touch deep subject matter.
The government-room ashetic with it's blu carpets and dark uniforms were good though. A nice fllm to look at considering there's only like two rooms in the entire thing.
No Country For Old Men
10/10
BARBARIC YAWP
10/10
8.5/10
the bit before he met the chick and was just doing zombie stuff was pretty good
Last new movie I saw was "Venom", and it was fucking terrible.
I still cringe when I hear people bring it up.
Had never watched it despite being a Redford fan and enjoying the spy genre so I gave it a whirl when insomnia hit earlier this week.
It was ok but guess I was expecting better. The whodunit aspect was unfulfilling, the ending was anticlimatic, and the entire Faye Dunaway addition could not have felt more bolted on. Would've been understandable if I felt there was chemistry between Redford and Dunaway but was surprised how forced they felt together.
For all its flaws, it was worth a watch just for Redford's performance. He definitely sold the vibe of a man completely lost and not knowing where to seek shelter.
I'd say 6/10, with Redford raising it from a 4.
yawp loved that scene btw
Gtfo zoomer. It's been proven that gen z's have no taste due to growing up in a sterile and coddled age
Pretty good. One of those movies that you have to think what was about after watching it. 8/10
one of the most overrated films ever
korean shit, eww.
6/10 kind of a drag despite Ben Foster being a great badass and some really intense violent scenes. Elle Fanning overacts to high hell. Overall just a really depressing movie.
>all these assblasted millenials
Based, should have rated it lower though
it was supposed to be an actual romance film at the start but when everyone started making it they had to start advertising and editing it to be more of a comedy thats how bad it was
easily 9/10, but there are two cuts of the film apparently and I'm unsure which I've seen.

Comfy 6/10
The Autopsy of Jane Doe
7/10
Entertaining at times, I liked the autopsy stuff about finding the COD. I wish I went in not knowing it was a witch film. Spooky but not terrifying. Girl is cute.
Siren (2018) It was 8/10. Eline Powell was nude through most of it.
checked
Thief (1981). Really loved Heat and Manhunter so decided to watch this. It's fine. Can see Mann's signature tells in the making (mostly filmed at night, dreamy synths, characters heading for oblivion). Aside from that the film felt vague and lacked impact. 6/10.
I agree, but Yea Forums seems to love Thief. i thought the best part was the ending, nothing stood out to me before then, I just liked how the diner looked.
Literal 17 year olds.
I turned 30 last month. It's boring.
Then you obviously find this influx of cape shit movies to be exciting. Boomer boy.
33 here, sorry if this is your Dads favourite film or something. I honestly thought it was dull hence the score. I liked the way it was filmed and the soundtrack, and the performances were fine. But little else. Can't stand capeshit. Project harder, sadsack
King Arthur legend of the sword
6/10
this looks like a 2/10 at best
Chronicles of Riddick - a masterpiece and pleb filter in the franchise.
Actually pretty solid
6.5/10
>nice premise shit execution
like you're face
7/10 - hippo gave me a boner
7/10
Ebert was right, the coy 4th wall bullshit and mugging for laughs all the time dragged it down.
>koreanshit
>predictable
>anime characters
>stupid deaths
7/10 was fun
2/10
Paddleton.
Bromance portrayed in a sweet manner. I really liked the two main characters. The two fellas who had chosen a lonely lifestyle and they only had each others, no homo, yet they live a happy and comfy life with simple routines. All in all, it was truly a pleasurable experience to follow these two fellas in this unfortunate situation. The emotions that this unfortunate situation brought were presented very in a very realistic manner and overall there was this realistic portrait of their odd friendship.
However, the characters lacked some backstory (like: why Andy went so awkward in the pool?) or maybe it was intentional that they were just regular guys and they didn't share any meaningful about each others, they just liked to spend time with each others.
Also, because it was a Duplass movie, I was expecting that Michael would've sent a message from afterlife to Andy like do that kung fu barrel thing to him from the afterlife. It would've been a perfect ending and granting this movie a 8/10.
7/10.
fat asian best asian

Exactly what you had to think while watching this? It was pretty obvious from the beginning what was going on. Only thing that I didn't figure out why the fuck he was jacking to those towers.
i can smell your reddit karma from here
BR2049 - 7.9/10
lmao is this actually the ending?
jesus you could cut glass with that nose
yeah, first half was so fucking comfy. such a shame
I only saw half of the movie, because it was very tired and I stopped to sleep, but from what I saw it was very good, now I'll finish seeing
8.7/10
legit kekked at the filename
6/10
it had a lot of potential but was too literal imo
6/10
Saw this at the theater. What a pile of garbage.
What about didn't you like?
Robin Hood (2018)
3/10. Don't bother.
That it was painfully unfunny. The only reason it was remade was to attract a bigger audience outside of Scandinavia.
agreed.
This was the last one I watched too and I’d say 8/10. Fascinating in-movie universe but it seems like they couldn’t think of a decent way to end the story
Vox Lux. Solid 9/10. Definitely one of the best films I've seen recently. Loved Corbet's last film Childhood of a Leader as well. Can't wait to see what he does next.
kys retard child
Swimming to Cambodia
Not sure if it counts as an actual movie, but it surprised me how much I enjoyed it. My tastes are usually pretty plebian and I don't generally go for these things.
>its okay to be gay
good post
Unbreakable 10/10
kino
Treasure Planet is kino, fuck Disney for purposely making it a flop
>Princess only looks at the Mc after he becomes rich
>Main villain is really just trying to cuck the Mc
Ya this is the incels guidebook of movies
This post is the worst shit on this dying website
I hope your kidney stones hurt when they come out.
I saw this movie and I have to disagree.
It was pretty fucken terrible.
2/10
It was trash. Utter trash. Pants-on-head-retarded trash. This film reminded me of the 00s era flicks that just HAD to have a plot twist in them.
>notice some odd shots with odd sound effects
>notice some odd camera panning with even odder sound
>please dont tell me Im in for some meta bullshit
And its just wasted potential. Great premise. Amazing landscapes/scenery... The acting and the characters werent half bad. The problem was that this film didnt know what it wanted to be from a thematic stand point. Eventually unravelling in the "BIG REVEAL" (SHAMALAM WOULD BE PROUD).
acting is gay
I think theres just one gory scene. an indian cuts someone in half like head to crotch and its so fucking ridiculous, I feel like even if youre sensitive to that kind of thing you'll be fine
No lie, my dad rented this because it was zombies and he actually liked it.
"WHAT IF THE ELITEST WERE LEGITIMIZED THROUGH SPIRITUAL ELITISM LMAO !?!?"
"someone call goldberg. we have a hit"
5/10 slow and boring didn't care to finish.
this. really confusing and hard to follow. I couldn't tell what time period it was set in. medieval times? seemed pretty dumb
5/10
Best Conjuring spin off movie but it's not scary at all.
Has Disney ever not been?
I’d say 8/10
I liked Split more; 9/10
And just saw Glass; 7.5/10
Glass was pretty good.
Without spoilers, it felt too open ended for Shamallama to not follow up with more, which he doesn’t intend to.
>4/10
Alita Battle Angel, had it been more digging into the origins of the war and the battle angels i would have given it a much higher score but 7.5/10but 2 hours 3 minutes flied by :D.
Alt title was "Justified Necrophilia"
2/10, but I had to watch it.
